DON’T PUT YOUR HIGH BEAMS ON

Good day and I hope you are having a great day.  As I was driving in the desert this week, occasionally I was in front of a car who had forgotten to lower their high beams.  It was very distracting, and irritating at first and as time went on, it became intolerable and I either had to change lanes or pass other cars just to get out of their presence.

This made me think about what I teach, what I study, and how I relate to people.  Even light in the darkness can cause people to withdraw, and not want to associate with us.  This is so true when I was a new teacher of The Law of Attraction (LOA).  I was so excited to “shine” the proverbial “light” on everyone I met.   Just like the high beams though, there usually were two different reactions. If they were at the same vibration, i.e. ready for the knowledge, my “high beams” would light the darkness in our path since we were side by side.  We both benefited.  However, when the person was not ready,  I can see how I was like a car with their high beams in the rear-view mirror annoying the crap out of them.  That never accomplished anything and I may have even pushed them away from the LOA.

When I was younger in U.C.L.A. I used to feel this way with people who wanted to share their religious beliefs with me on campus. From their point of view, they wanted to share the “light”, and I was closed minded, or comfortable with my own beliefs and just felt irritated so the message was not received. I am happy to say I am more open minded and exhibit more grace now to all beliefs.

The point I am stressing here is the need for care and caution.  We deliberate creators are very excited about what we know is possible for all human beings.  Not everyone thought is ready for it on our schedule.  It is very much like mentorship.  Care needs to be applied in sharing the knowledge because, being human, I felt bad when after spending an hour explaining LOA in detail, the other person looked like a deer  in the headlights or would rather talk about rearranging their socks drawer.  I would take it personally and that would bring me down.  It would take me days to get over it.  I would wonder what “I was doing wrong?”, “why could I  not convey this magical ability to people and get them as excited as I was?”.   I have realized that mentors are approached by students in most cases and not the other way around.  It was not personal. They were just not ready for the information.

It is a UNIVERSAL LAW and that is why the same applied to spirituality and LOA.  I find sharing the 40,000 foot view with people I think are ready is the good start. This way I would not overwhelm them and turn them off from the beginning.  I would let the basics sink in and when they are ready, they would approach me for more.  This is the reason why this blog is so passive.  I only market it on my Twitter about 5 times per week  and on my LOA Facebook page once per week.  Whomever is on the right receiving vibration will get attracted to the right posts, at the right time. Whomever needs the books and coaching will contact me at the right time. It is really a very cool way to work.  And it is THE LAW.

I hope this makes sense to you and helps in some way.  Feel free to share this with anyone who can benefit and as always comment on my Facebook and Twitter feeds. Till next week, to your success.

EXAMINE YOUR DISSAPOINTMENTS

Good day and I hope you are having a great day.  This week, I have a video blog for you and I will go into  one of the  things that usually throws us into the negativity vibration, and that is “disappointments”.  I am going to cover the concepts, give you ways to handle it, and share a few personal examples to make the whole thing nice an clear.  Yes, I have had and will have disappointments as well, lol.  I hope you enjoy it. As always please feel free to share this and don’t forget to go to the Facebook page to twitter, and comment and post any questions you may have and I will answer them.  Enjoy and till next week, to your success.

LEADERSHIP AND THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

Good day and I hope you are having a great day.  Recently I was in a leadership course that focused on many aspects of influencing people not necessarily from a position of authority, but within groups of similar position colleagues.  As we discussed the techniques and principles of leadership I was pleasantly surprised to see how much of the  modern leadership principals utilize the principles of The Law of Attraction (LOA), which inspired this week’s post.

Perhaps the most important thing I learned in this course, was the fact that leadership is different depending on the “readiness level” of the people you are trying to influence.  You lead people who have never done a task differently than people who are advanced in their skill levels.  From the LOA standpoint it is similar to vibrational levels of where you are in comparison to those you are trying to influence.  Let me give you the example of my mother that I have used before.  My mother suffered from blindness 2 months before I got married.  It was a bizarre and rare situation that had her own immune system attack the optic nerve but there was nothing wrong with the eye itself.  This was very early on in my journey with the Law of Attraction. Being very excited and enthusiastic I kept on trying to “make” my mother believe that she could heal herself using visualization and principles of LOA, but I had little effect on her.  She was a nurse for 30 years, and very much set in her own ways.  When I discuss this with people who are trying to help loved ones understand and use the principles of LOA, I equate this to being on the balcony of the 50th floor of a building and trying to scream down to the person who is on the 1st floor.  It jus will not happen. We are vibrationally on different levels. Only 2 things can happen. Either they have to come up or we have to go down.  Using the wrong leadership style without considering the level of the people we want to influence is frustrating and rarely successful.  From The LOA perspective, I as the practitioner have to decide if I want to come to the lower vibration (more negative) in order to bring the person up to the level where we can discuss it? There is no easy answer to this. It is a personal choice, taking into consideration that whatever we concentrate on is what we attract to ourselves.

Concentration on negativity will only bring more opportunities for negativity to come to us. If this concept is difficult for you to grasp, you need to read some of the basic posts that I have highlighted on the lower right side of this blog’s main page where the dates are:  entitled “some basic posts for new readers”.  In leadership you can change your style to meet the readiness level of  those you are trying to influence but, be aware of the LOA aspect as well and make sure that in your style you are not moving yourself to the negative vibration.

Another concept that was stressed by experienced leaders was the concept of “celebrating your wins”.  This is really near and dear to the foundation of LOA.  As I mentioned before we will manifest what we concentrate on. This is law.  It is not what I think, or you think.  It is a Universal Law as accurate as mathematics or physics.  Our leadership panel mentioned that even in times of challenges you need to make sure you and your team keep things in perspective and celebrate your wins.  This is a no brainer, but by all means not an easy task to do.  Let’s look at it from the LOA perspective.  When you are concentrating on the wins, you are sending the message to the Universe that you want more opportunities to celebrate wins.  By law you will attract more opportunities to win, and sooner rather than later you will be overcoming the challenges.

Another concept that we discussed was setting the vision, letting your team know it clearly, and then getting out of their way and supporting them.  This is so key to anything you are working on.  Having a focused and shared vision where everyone is clear on where we are and where we are going is a must. As many teachers of LOA mention, you cannot reach your destination if you have no idea where you are and where you are going.  Supporting your team and getting out of their way is also key, as in The LOA the “how” is not your job.  When I say the how is not your job, I do not mean you do not make plans and take action.  Remember that as opportunities will come to you, you do need to take actions. Just don’t be so stuck on the plan that you cannot take feedback and adjust course. Set the focus with your visualization,  feel the way you would feel when the goal is achieved, and with all your senses know that it is done.  Clarity is the another foundation of success in leadership as well as in using The LOA.  Make sure not to mistake, allowing for lack of action. Action is very important and if you are confused by this, again take a look at many of the earlier posts on this site.

Lastly I wanted to make sure to point out that leaders know that there will be challenges and obstacles.  Challenges are how leaders are made. People who overcome adversity in a productive manner are the ones who stand out and become leaders.  From LOA point of view you have heard me say there is no failure.  When something you have been visualizing and concentrating towards, cleared your resistances on, and have total belief that will happen, does not go your way there are 2 reasons. One, is that something much better is coming your way and the Universe is covering you, as you concentrate on the end results only and not the how. The second reason is that what you are concentrating on is NOT in your best interest, and again the Source is protecting you.  You have to have faith and belief that this law works with exact precision without exception.  It is always looking out for your best interest and when you try to force the issue you will usually do yourself more harm than good in the long run.

I found this course really productive and practical and I am very happy that I could relate it for  you in this blog post to cover the concepts and the background from The LOA perspective.  Please feel free to share this with anyone who can benefit and as always I look forwards to hearing from you on my Facebook page and Twitter feed. Till next week, to your continued success.

MEDITATION

Good day and I hope you are having a great day. Recently I have been studying meditation and chanting, specifically in relations to Buddhism. Even though I have meditated off and on all my life through my martial arts training and being a medical professional am aware of the benefits of the practice, I have to admit my recent findings made many things fit into place perfectly in regards to The Law of Attraction (LOA).

A few months ago a new SGI Buddhism center opened in my local town.  They had some Buddhism 101 introductory classes and being a lifelong learner I attended a few of them. The class opened by a description of Nichirin, a monk who originated this particular type of study.  I was surprised to learn that the last teaching of the Buddha written in the Lotus Sutra  concentrated on the concept that all human being are capable of infinite potential.  Specifically that all humans are equally capable of this achievement.  This was something that was very rare in those ancient times when casts systems and societal ranks were the norm. The concept that by our thoughts we shape our destiny.  Does this sound familiar?  This was about 3000 years ago.  Nichirin concentrated on  these writings about 750 years ago and he believed that by chanting the title of the Lotus Sutra regularly a person would actually clean their Karmic self.  Clean from what you might ask?  During our life we humans are constantly putting ourselves down.  We are constantly criticizing ourselves, and are criticized by people who are important in our lives.  Many of these criticisms come from people who have our “best interest” at heart. Yet all that builds on itself and if you wil,l muddies our Karma and that prevents us from achieving our potential.  It is like the dirt weighs us down from achieving any success. It is like trying to run with excess weights attached to our waists. As I listened to the explanation, it seemed like what we in the study of LOA call resistance.  Nichirin taught that through sound vibration, specifically in front of a Gohunzun, a person literally peels away the vibrational dirt like layers of onion, cleansing their Karma, and clearing their resistance so they can attract all they want into their lives.

On the plane ride from my vacation, I was reading David G’s book on meditation.  He also explained that meditation was like cleaning our subconscious. He used the example of a cell phone that was constantly ringing on loud.  Meditation was like lowering the volume or, with regular practice even allowing us to put it on vibrate so we can move on and concentrate on life without being tuned out or interrupted.  This would allow a clearing the interruptions and resistance that hinders us.

Interestingly the  Nichirin Buddhism lectures used the same examples I use when I talk about The Law of Attraction (LOA).  Examples like energy flow, electricity, and Universal laws. I felt like I was in a discussion group on LOA, instead of a Buddhism class.  It was a great experience.

Whatever our beliefs, the tool that is meditation focuses the mind, allows access to clearing resistance, and helps control and clarify our visions. All are critical if we are to use LOA to create the reality we want.  All are needed to control our outbursts of emotion that can send us deep down the negative vibrational tunnel.  It, like any tool, can be used or ignored.  I am sharing with you the information and will leave it to you to decide if you want to use it or not.

After this realization,  I personally am making meditation a priority in my life.  It is an exercise that will make my mind stronger and that will make my use of LOA principals more effective.  I hope this makes sense, and is useful for you.  I hope this made you think about adding meditation to your arsenal if you have not thus far, and if you have, to become more disciplined in its regular use.  As always please feel free to share this with anyone who may benefit from it.  Leave me comments or questions on my Facebook page or on my Twitter feed. Till next week, to your success.

MY SCARCITY TRIGGER

Good day and I hope you are having a great week. This week I am sharing a really bad day where I lost it. My scarcity trigger is activated whenever I feel like I am being cheated and specifically when I can't fight it or do anything about it.  Such incident happened in Cancun on my vacation at the Dolphin Discovery. They charged my family double the cost of the entire activity just to get our photos.  I was helpless because I wanted the pictures since they do not allow you to bring your own camera, and at the same time I did not want to give this place any more of my business. What ensued was a series of mistakes on my part vibrationally that just sent the whole day into a negative tale spin.
I am sharing this with you for 2 reasons. One is of course for the obvious fact that loosing your cool is not really productive. The 2nd one, is so you can realize that even though I have been teaching The Law of Attraction  (LOA) for over 6 years, I am not infallible. Everyone makes mistakes. Tomorrow is a new day and we can start all over.  Give yourself a break if you happen to make a mistake like I did. Enjoy the video. Make sure to post comments on my Facebook Page and Twitter Feed.
