DO YOU PRACTICE FEELING GOOD? DO YOU NEED TO?

Good day every one,
I wonder what did the title of this post do for you? Did you find it an unusual question? Is it something that you find out of the box? Or is it as natural as the question “how are you today?”. The idea of this post is to make it the later.
If you are like most people, you pretty much feel the way your surroundings dictate. That is if things are going well you feel good and if things are challenging you may be in not so good of a feeling place. That is going about by default and one of the reasons I set up this blog and wrote the book Road Map to Life  is to let as many people as possible know that you can control your life and future. If this is a new concept for you stick with me for a second. Then go to some of the earlier posts and familiarize yourself with the Law of Attraction and how it can help you succeed in the game of life. If you really like this blog go and buy my book as well ;-)
So let’s dive more into the question. If your feelings are dictated by your external environment then you are at the mercy of whatever is happening in your environment. Even if you are aware of the principles of the Law of Attraction, if you have not practiced feeling good, it is very difficult to reach for a good feeling when you are faced with the reality of things not being so good. You heard me correctly when I said PRACTICED FEELING GOOD. Just like visualization feeling good is a skill that can be mastered. Just like any other skill it takes practice. So how do you go about practicing feeling good? Let’s jump right in.
In the beginning you want to try practicing this exercise for no more than about 10-15minutes when you know you will not be disturbed, and at a time when you are in a good mood. This IS NOT THE PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO FIX SOMETHING THAT IS NOT WORKING. If you bring in the feeling of “fixing” something, your vibration will be of lack and that is not what we are trying to do here. So get comfortable, and start to visualize and think of a calming, fun, place. This can be somewhere you have been before where you experienced good feelings, or it can be a place you want to be, or it can be someplace you are making up. It does not matter as long as it brings feelings of joy and happiness. Imagine what the weather is like in this place. Be specific. What is the temperature; how humid is it? Is it raining, or is it sunny? Is there a breeze or is it calm?  Who is there with you? What activities are you engaging in? Is there dialogue going on if someone is there with you? Or are you alone and just enjoying the surroundings? It does not  matter if you decide to take someone, but it is imperative that they bring a feeling of joy to you while they are with you. Also remember that this is not set in stone. Today you may go alone and tomorrow you may bring your kids with you.
Once you get into the feeling of joy and happiness and feel your vibration rise it is time to get out. Usually if you stay too long you start to become practical and bring obstacles into the good feeling place. Try to do this once a day. When you are standing in line, or stuck in traffic, or in an elevator. Get in and get out. Concentrate on the good feeling that you get when you go into this special place. When you do this long enough, usually around 27-30 days in a row, you develop a habit of feeling good on command. I like to say do this for 3 months every day but 30 days will work as a starting point.
So why is this so important? When you have this skill developed and can feel good on command, you then have a store of memories and techniques to utilize when you are faced with a challenging situation. You know that when things do come up and your emotional response is something like anger, disappointment,  depression, etc. you are feeding the negative energy with those powerful emotions and it is by the Law of Attraction bringing more and more things that will continue to make you feel that way unless you can start to change your feelings. So when fecal matter starts to hit the osculating percolator, you can pick one of the visualizations that you have worked on and practiced to start to feel good a little at a time. If this is not practiced it is very difficult to change that bad feeling on a dime. It is a skill worth practicing and I think once you get good at it, i.e. after 30 days, you will see that it was well worth 10 minutes a day for 30 days to get it done. In fact I think you will like it so much that it will become a part of your daily routine.  If after doing this for 30 days you feel otherwise please come and share your experience by commenting on this post. Perhaps we can all learn from each other.
Good luck and enjoy. As always feel free to pass this along to anyone you think can use it.

HOW TO VISUALIZE FOR SUCCESS

Good day. In the last post I mentioned how important it is not visualize from a sense of lack. What does that mean is the subject of this post. Visualization should be a practice of complete acceptance and confidence in what you want. This is a place where you control everything. There is no lack in visualization. At least if you want to achieve any kind of success using this powerful tool you should control it so there is no FEELING of lack and scarcity in your visualization. Most of us, as previously mentioned use The Law of Attraction by default and we also go about visualizing by default. For example when you hear on the news that there was a terrible Tsunami in Japan what comes to your mind? What pictures does your mind conjure up? I practice this thing daily, and when I first heard about the sad news, I immediately thought about the dooms day prophesies I had read and seen in movies like 2012 etc. You may not think those are visualization but they are.

Visualization used creatively and productively should be a sense of complete acceptance of the subject there in. When you visualize and there is a longing or feeling of want because you don’t have something, you are setting up automatic resistance to it. So how do you go about visualizing with a sense of total acceptance? The answer is by practice. Visualization is designed to make the object of it become so detailed and so routine that the acceptance of it as real is the next logical step and then and only then will it manifest in your reality. Let me give you an example.

I want to have a dark brown, Porsche 911 turbo cabriolet, 2010 or newer with PDK transmission and leather interior as well as Bose sound system and navigation. So I go about visualizing this magnificent car but at the same time I realize that the car I am currently driving is not my ideal car. I may even start to feel disappointed in that fact. As I am visualizing my Porsche, I have a feeling in my gut that the price of premium fuel now is topping at $4.30 per gallon. The insurance on that car would be several thousands of dollars per year. I do not have space in my current garage to park that beautiful car. All of this is a sense of lack. These are the feelings that pop up as resistance and until my visualization of the Porsche is the next logical step in my mind the visualization will remain a dream. At this point I am far from it.

What I have to do is to visualize the car in a sense of joy. One really good way to practice productive visualization that I learned is from the book Ask and it is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks. In It the entity knows as Abraham instructs us to write down what we want and then write “why” we want it. The practice of writing the “why” makes the object more clear and defined and also erases the resistance to it. So for examples, I would visualize driving in my new Porsche, feeling the sun and the wind in my hair as I have the top down. I love the feeling of power under the hood. I love the way my little girl sitting in her car seat in the back screams with joy as the wind blows through her hair. I love the smile on my wife’s face sitting next to me as we take a ride down to the beach. I love the feeling of admiration we get from the people watching us drive by. I love the feeling of accomplishment I get every time I sit in my car. It serves as a validating point that I have arrived at the point of success I always dreamed of. In that visualization is the knowing that I don’t give a crap about the cost of fuel or insurance. There is a sense of gratitude that I am enjoying this and I am deserving of it without reservation.

So as I go about concentrating on this visualization and fine tuning the feelings, it becomes more and more natural that I have the car. When I get to the point that there is a comfort and total acceptance that I have the car, then and only then opportunities and events will transpire to bring the car into my reality.

I hope this makes things more clear as to how to utilize the powerful tool of visualization without hampering your hard work by setting up resistance points along the way.

Feel free to share this with any one you feel could benefit and have a great week.

Are you visualizing from a point of lack?

Good day. Today I want to take a closer look at one of the most important tools we have to achieve success. It is something that no one can take away from us. Every one of us has it, regardless of our background, race, color, origin. Weather our parents are rich or poor. Weather we went to a good school or never went to school. I am talking about the ability to visualize.
No matter who you talk to, if they are successful in anything they do, they have or are visualizing at some point or another. Sports athletes do it all the time to enhance their performance.  In fact in the 80’s there were experiments performed on Olympic track and fields athletes in which they were to run their race in their mind alone. The electromyogram attached showed the same set of muscles fired at the same time in the same order as if they were running the race on the track.
Business moguls do it all the time. Sales reps, CEOs, investors use visualization to prepare and get focused.
Visualization is a big part of how The Law of Attraction works as well. If you have not read my previous posts on The Law of Attraction or my book Road Map to Life I suggest clicking on the posts on the side of the page that explains the basics of the law of attraction or reading my book to get familiar with the concepts.
How we visualize however, is very important. As we have discussed It is the feelings and emotions that fuel the power of The Law of Attraction brining into reality opportunities for us to achieve successes we have visualized. So it is critical that your visualization is not coming from a place of lack and scarcity, or sense of loss.
For example if you are visualizing a particular car for example but at the same time you have this longing for it that is placing your energy on the feeling that “I want it because I don’t have it” then you are setting up resistance to the manifestation of the opportunities that would bring that car into your reality. It is a subtle point but a very important one.  I believe this is the main reason why Bob Proctor, an authority on The Law of Attraction suggest starting your visualization and the written statements with “I am so happy and grateful now that…” The power of gratitude is very powerful in negating the feeling of lack and longing. Keep this in mind when you are visualizing the next great sale, or the next great relationship, or the next goal.
Keep the feelings on what you do want and also be mindful that your feeling are not coming from scarcity. That is why you need to do your visualization and work with The Law of Attraction when you are in a calm state of mind free from distraction and at least in a neutral state of mind if not in a sense of grateful joy.  As with everything else this is a skill that you can master by practice. As you work on this you will get better and better with your visualization and this should catapult your results to a new height. Next week I will go into more detail on how to visualize so you are not coming from a sense of lack.
Wishing for your continued success. Feel free to share this with anyone you think can benefit from it.

How to Deal with Bad Habits and/or Situations

Good day. Today I want to talk about a topic that will come up from now and then regarding how to deal with established bad habits that we have accumulated throughout life and/or situations that are less than ideal.  This is a core lesson for anyone interested in success, and principals of success as well as any student of The Law of Attraction. Why I say this? Because no matter how adept one becomes at achieving success, without confronting and eliminating bad habits, those successes will be temporary.  In the Master Key System , Charles Haanel describes “the way to forget something is to GET SOMETHING FOR IT”.  So the first step to overcoming a bad habit is to replace it with a positive one. The same is true for circumstances. We know our current circumstances are the result of our past thinking. So we need to get something to replace those thoughts. Otherwise the concentration on how miserable we are in the current circumstance only adds fuel to the circumstance that we do NOT want.  We need to concentrate on the ideal.  Just like in the garden, weed stays around days after the root has been destroyed, bad habits and circumstances that have dominated our life, tend to stay around for a while.  After all 15 minutes of positive thinking in the face of 20 years of negativity will not magically change everything in an instance. We must persist in our vision, and the feeling of the ideal,  and soon we will deny the bad situation, and habits the power to persist and we are left with the ideal.  The hard part is keeping up the persistence in the face of bad situations or prevailing bad habits.  We have learned that what we see is real. The concept that our reality is formed by our previous thoughts is foreign to many of us and it takes faith and energy to continue to keep ourselves motivated.  If this concept is new to you please go back and read some of the earlier posts on how the Law of Attraction works and what it is about. Persistence takes practice, and requires constant recharge by providing ourselves with positive energy in the form of information, meditation, rest, and positive influences.  This is one of the reasons I started this blog and wrote a book. By concentrating on being positive on this blog week after week, I keep the concentration on positivity. It is very difficult at times, and I find I have to keep on recharging my batteries by re-reading many of the books I mention here and in my book Road Map to Life: A real world Lesson, but the alternative  is unthinkable.  I hope as I keep up this blog more and  more people find it beneficial and this can serve as a source of recharging your batteries.
Best wishes for all, till next week. As always please feel free to share this blog posting.

LET THE LAW OF ATTRACTION WORK FOR YOU. JUST LET IT.

For about 4 years I have been working with LOA. In general, I have not had any problem making it work. I have used LOA to try to manifest a life filled with wealth happiness and success. There have been times however, contrary to what I have been taught, that I have tried to dictate how I want a certain success to come to me. That is a mistake allot of people make. Originally when I was introduced to LOA the recipe for manifesting something entailed visualizing, and concentrating and taking action when opportunities presented themselves. The how was never my responsibility. The how rests in the power of the universe. For example I wanted to purchase a particular material luxury. So I concentrated on a specific amount of money to come to me through various sources for various services I rendered, by a certain time. At the end of that time frame I wanted to purchase that specific material thing for myself with the money. As time went by and I did not get what I wanted I started wondering why? I knew it was not the Law of Attraction. The laws of universe are always working. For example I read in the MASTER KEY SYSTEM a great point: When a bridge falls down you do not blame the law of gravity. Some thing in the creation of the bridge was faulty, i.e. the operator had made a mistake not the universal law.  When I went back and took inventory I noticed that everything that I actually wanted to have I already had. When I visualize in ideals, such as great career, great family and relationships, no hardship of money etc, they have happened. However when I specifically wanted to get the money though specific actions to purchase what I wanted the money came and went for other things. I realized that I was not putting my concentration on the final results, i.e. the material thing I wanted but on gaining the money to purchase it. In fact I was trying to tell the LOA exactly how I wanted to arrive at my destination. I was trying to force the issue through ways that may not have been the best for me.
Moral of the story is if you concentrate on the big picture of what you want in your life and leave the how to work itself out it is much more likely that you will manifest what you want in a more efficient and quicker way than if you try to force a particular path of achieving your goal. You do not know all the working of the universe, and hence you are working from a limited perspective. It is like trying to built a house by putting on the roof first because that is all you see you can achieve where as the Universe can start putting the foundation of the house and building up the house before the roof.
I want you to learn from my mistake. Focus on the end result and not the how of that result. If you want a material thing focus on having and enjoying that and not the money to buy it. For the longest time I wanted someone to come and help my wife with our two kids during the day but the idea of getting such help seemed “too expensive”.  Can you believe that? Well even though I had doubt the difficulties with our kids must have really focused my attention because my wife met a lady in the grocery store who offered her help and who happened to have a daughter a few years older than my daughter. See things just happen to work out. Now we have a new friend, my kids are learning Spanish and have a friend to play with at the same time.  It still amazes me how things just work if I let them work.

Book Road Map to life went to publisher

Good day all. I just wanted to drop a post here and say that my book is finally going to the publisher through Xlibris. It will soon be available on amazon.com, xlibris.com, borders etc. not only in e-book format but in hard cover as well as paperback. Once that happens the pricing is no longer in my hands so if you still have not taken advantage of the offer on this page I would do it in the next 2-3 months. The free bonus pdf offer is only available for the next 2-3 months on this page.

Best wishes.

PREVENTING THE NEGATIVE FEED BACK LOOP

Previously I had talked about a family member of mine who was in a negative mental state and I was trying to turn his concentration to positive by teaching him about the Law of Attraction, but he constantly went into how the financial situation he was in was bad and how he is facing it every day and it is hard, and it is tough and on and on. I felt like I was talking to a wall. Recently I was humbled because I was in a similar situation, where at least I understood how he felt and I wanted to share that with you and tell you how easy it is to come out of such a negative state of mind when everything around you screams negativity. It is easy to come out of it but it is not the way most people would think.
My daughter had recently had surgery on both eyes, so her sleep cycle was messed up. My newborn had a bad night. Both my wife and I were extremely tiered and I had just came back from a business trip and trying to give my wife a rest so she could go and get some fresh air and work out.  I offered to take the kids for a few hours. During this time the kids were on their worst behavior. At least that was my perspective. In reality they were just being kids. I was about to pull the hair out of my head and if you have seen my picture you will notice I do not have any hair. It was one of those situations where I could not end the chaos. No matter what I tried I felt I was in a deep hole with no way out. That is what I want to bring into focus. When you are in a situation like that it is extremely difficult to turn it around. I have said this before that it is not about hitting home runs, but about hitting base hits but even that approach does not work sometimes when you are feeling total hopelessness around you. When you are faced with a situation where everything seemingly is going wrong you mental energy is so negative that just attempting to think of little positive steps is at times impossible. The best thing to do and the only way I was able to get out of my rut is to just end that day. Some how go to sleep, pray, what ever will make you comfortable. Just go to sleep and the next day try to start with little steps like “thank God my babies are both healthy”, or “ I am so happy and grateful that I have a roof over my head”, or “ I am so grateful that I have a car to drive to work instead of taking the bus”.  For me it was the realization that there are some people who can not have children that would give anything to have the tireless night I had with my two youngsters. Eventually the night ended. The next day with a fresh mindset, even though I was tiered the day progressed getting better and better. I finally came to the realization that if you want to turn your mental attitude around to manifest a better future for yourself you cannot do it when you are in a negative frame of mind.  No matter how hard you try, those emotional feelings are what gives power to our visualization as I have mentioned in my book Road Map to Life as well as this blog on how to use the Law of Attraction.
You need to be in a neutral state in terms of feelings  at the very least, to have any success with manifesting your desires and be on your way to building your positive mind and your reality.
All it takes is that one night that you can go to sleep, and end the pain that happened all day long. Early the next morning try to as much as you can to come up with a fresh perspective. Take a walk outside, breath the fresh air. Look at the wonderful sun, the grass, the freedom you enjoy.  Slowly look for things you can be thankful for, and be grateful for the things you have. With those tiny little step you take small progressions to feeling a little bit better and better and that will bring in more of the feelings for you to feel better, and very soon the negativity will neutralize and will move you to the positive.

I hope this will help you in times where everything seems lost. Keep the faith that the sun will rise tomorrow and with it there are new opportunities and new realities. You have a choice of how your tomorrow will look.
