Good day and I hope you are having a great day. Today I wanted to discuss something that occurred
to me when I was on a trip in South of Mexico on a business trip. During the
trip I had a day to spend with some friends and we decided to visit the Myan
city of Chichen Itza.
As you
will see bellow, our guide told us that the entire city was built without
access to wheels or horses. People used
to carry the stones on their back. Their
life expectancy was between 30-35 years old.
I am sure they had things to complain about. Their lives were hard. They were the
scientists and astrologers of their time. They created calendars that were more
accurate than our Gregorian Calendar. They also had amazing display of
gratitude for what they believed were the “source” , or “Gods”. Granted sacrificing people at altars is not
exactly what I am talking about, but it is amazing what length they went to
express gratitude. Their display of
gratitude dwarfs anything we do in this day and age.
I was
thinking of the stuff I complain about. Mundane
things like airlines and travel issues, my phone, the internet connection, or
the traffic. I really felt ashamed. And I hope that this short little post will
create a little awareness for you as it did for me to be more grateful and do
less complaining. Sometimes we just need
little reminders that The Law of Attraction is working all the time weather we
realize it or not. When you complain you
are attracting more stuff to complain about.
When you are grateful, you will attract more things to be grateful
about. Don’t forget to leave me comments
on my Facebook and Twitter feed. Till next week, to your success.
Good day and I hope you are having a great week. I was
listening to the radio on January 11th, just about a week ago, and I heard that already, 2
weeks into the month of January, almost 40% of the people who have make New
Year’s resolutions have given up on those resolutions. So it got me thinking,
how could this possibly be? Do we, as a society not have enough self-discipline
to continue with a New Year’s resolution for 11 days? I was getting turned towards negativity really quick, I mean
40% is not a joke.
Getting back to my routes real quick and using The Law of
Attraction principles of looking for the good and the love, I wanted to give
you some suggestions, so your Law of Attraction resolutions will not fail or
get derailed as easily.
As you know by reading this blog, or studying the principles
of The Law of Attraction (LOA), this universal law states that there is no
scarcity in the Universe, there is no competition. Our beliefs however, as human beings
depending on how we were raised, or in what situation we were brought up, have
ingrained us with those beliefs that there is scarcity. When it comes to
desires, visualizations, and goals, you can shoot for the moon and in fact you
should set goals that are way out there, but be aware of that gut feeling that
might tell you BULL $HIT. The more
believable your visualization and your goals are, especially when you first
start, the easier the manifestation is, and also it will allow you to build confidence
in the process. So if you are new to the
LOA, and I would qualify that by saying if you have been only using or
attempting to use the LOA for one to two years, then you are new. I recommend when you are setting your goals, set them so
they are believable to you. Because in the course of 2 years if you go back and
actually calculate how many hours of training, and practice you have dedicated
to LOA, I would be willing to bet it would be less than 500 hours.
Remember for us to become experts at anything it requires minimum
10,000 hours of practice. The LOA is thankfully more forgiving than many other
skills, but at the same time our resistances and limiting beliefs are also very
deeply ingrained in our psyches. So use
your clearing methods, anything from EFT (emotional freedom technique) or HO’
O’ PONOPONO, or the Sedona method, whenever you get that resistance during your
practice of visualization and The LOA.
It is imperative and much more effective to do these clearing when the
gut check happens. When that nagging
resistance comes up. For example if you have built the habit of reading your
goals and visualizing your desires twice a day, as I suggest, as soon as you
get that negative self-talk, do some clearing. Do a few rounds of EFT, or say
the phrases of Ho’ O’ Ponopono prayer, or go through the Sedona method question
and answer. Make sure you set the rating of how uncomfortable that nagging
self-talk is before and after your clearing technique. Do the Ho’ O’ Ponopono throughout the day. Do it especially when you get a resistance
when working with a visualization or goal.
The main thing I want you to take away, if you don’t get anything else
from this post is do your visualization twice a day, every single day. I can’t
tell you how important it is to do this one simple thing. Because it keeps your mind open to
opportunities that come into your life, and it gives you more opportunities to
succeed which will reinforce that this process is real to you and it actually
works for you. Doing daily things is
critical to keep you on task with any goal you set for yourself. Do minor steps towards your goal every single
day, even if it is just sitting down for 10 to 15 minutes and brainstorming the
next steps, or going to sleep after setting your to do list for the next day so
your subconscious mind will be working on those while you sleep.
Keep these things in mind and do them and I will promise you
that you will have much more success with your goals and visualizations and the
use of The LOA. As always please leave
me comments and thoughts on my Facebook page and Twitter feed, and until next
week, wishing you the best and to your success.

Good day and I hope you are having a great day. Today I want to once again reach for lessons from
my martial arts training and correlate that with how success and The Law of
Attraction (LOA) works in your
life. I will give you a brief example
from the world of martial arts and then we will weave that into how using the
same principles will make your use of LOA more effective.
In jiu jitsu and any martial arts you start training and
drilling to get good at techniques to be used on an opponent. But what is very important to remember is
that as a beginner in any marital arts, you are bound by rules, and you are placed in
an ideal situation for your techniques to succeed. These rules are for you and your partners
safety. For example if you are doing a technique in jiu
jitsu on an opponent that is following the jiu jitsu rules, all if fine. If you are boxing with an opponent that is
following boxing rules everything is fine. Things however, become very different
when you are trying to do a bent arm lock in jiu jitsu and your opponent starts
punching you or kicking you. Or when you
are boxing and your opponent starts to kick you in the groin. That is not the time for learning and is in
no way conducive to your success.
The same is true with The Law of Attraction, and success. Visualizing and having a positive attitude is
a piece of cake when things are going well, but when challenges arrive and stuff
starts to hit the fan, it is a completely different environment. So what’s the answer? Just like martial arts,
you train and drill, and you do your practices of your techniques in an ideal
scenario and ideal environment. You have
partners that are willing and cooperative, and you are following a set amount
of rules until you become extremely proficient at making your technique work through
thousands of repetitions. This is not
just for jiu jitsu. Even in stand up
styles, like Tae Kwon Do, you practice your kicks over and over, especially if
you are doing areal kicks, you practice them on a stationary object like a bag,
then you have a training partner hold pads for you until you have done this
thousands of times and can then execute this on a moving target.
With The Law of Attraction and success principles, you
follow exactly the same path. You don’t
want to wait until things are going haywire to start trying to feel good, and
expressing a positive vibration because at that point it is very
difficult. You want to go ahead and get
really good at practicing these positive vibrations when things are ok, and are
going very well in ideal situations. You
want to do these thousands and thousands of time within wonderful, and ideal environments,
until this becomes second nature to you. So when stuff starts hitting the fan
and challenges arrive and you are in the proverbial real life situation, those
technique of visualizations, and accessing the feelings that you need for
prosperity are automatic and are not as difficult to reach as they would be if
you had never practice them before.
So I hope this makes sense and you can benefit from
this. I look forwards to your thoughts
and comments on my Facebook page and/or twitter feed.
Good day and I hope you are having a wonderful week. Today I
want to explore the side of The Law of Attraction (LOA) that we frequently ignore,
or are bashful about, yet this point is extremely important to your success.
More to it, we are usually very uncomfortable with this aspect of The Law of
Attraction (LOA), which naturally creates resistance for you to achieve your
goals.
What I am referring to is being a good receiver. For some reason, in our Western culture in
particular, we tend not to be good receivers. We are outright embarrassed to be receivers. Let me explain this through an example. How do you react when somebody gives you a
compliment? Do you just shrug it off, or do you whole heatedly receive
it. Most people who I have come in
contact with usually shrug it off with comments like, “it was nothing, it is
all in a day’s work, or I got lucky”.
How do you react when someone gives you a gift out of nowhere? Do say
things like, “you shouldn't have”, do you feel embarrassed? Do you feel like “oh
I didn't get him anything”?
Learning to be a good receiver is just as important as the
other parts of The LOA like visualizing, having good positive feelings about
your goals, or doing your affirmations.
This is because when you minimize the effect of receiving, you are
essentially telling the Universe that you want to be in a situation that whatever
comes to you is minimized. In essence
you are minimizing the flood gate to your abundance.
I wanted to expand on this principle and add a success tip in
this post for you. I want you to start
expecting to receive with people you do day to day business. There is no reason why your doctor,
accountant, or your lawyer cannot also be your customers. Start evaluating how your products or service
can benefit the people that you naturally do business with. When you take your kids to their
pediatrician, can that doctor, or their office, use your product or
service. When you are doing your taxes,
can your tax accountant use your product or service, when you are at the grocery
store, can the checker or the bagger use your product or service, and start
without any hesitation or embarrassment asking those people that you do
business with for THEIR BUSINESS. More
importantly be expecting to receive the revenue that can come from this. Very
few people, business owners, and entrepreneurs
tap into this aspect of clients that could potentially be there for you if you
ask. Remember if you don’t ask you will
never get a yes for an answer. You are
giving them your money, and your business, hence the simple asking of the
question should not be embarrassing for you.
There is nothing to be lost, and everything to be gained.
I hope this was helpful to you and please share your
comments and feedback on my Facebook and Twitter feed, and till next week, to
your success.
