FOCUS POCUS

As I was driving my little girl to school, I reminisced about how my father had taught me to drive. Weeks before I was to take my driving test, we used to practice in my little 1984 VW Rabbit Diesel.   One of the main things that my father told me was to scan around as I am driving and not to develop Tunnel Vision. At the same time make sure that I do not get fixated on what is going on around me that I would lose sight of the road and what is in front of me. As this fond memory surfaced, I had to smile thinking how it relates to the use of focus in achieving success with the Law of Attraction and goals.
Good day all and I hope you are having a great week. Today I wanted to touch base on Focus. It is important when dealing with goal setting. It is critical in utilizing the Law of Attraction. It is a skill that can be learned. It is also something that can be misunderstood and either neglected or abused.
I have heard focus likened to a laser beam. That is very accurate. I know how important focus is to achieving success, and an interesting thing happened to me today when I was taking my daughter to school. Let me relate the incident.

Occasionally when we set goals, we are laser focused on the task at hand and are excited and enthusiastic and plow ahead without “scanning” the surroundings. Focus and persistence are sometimes grouped together but they are two different characteristic important to success.  Neither one means to beat your head against the proverbial rock. Focus can be abused if it ignores what is going on around you. It is like tunnel vision in my driving story. If I am not scanning the road ahead I may miss many obstacles and challenges/dangers that may be lurking ahead of my task. I may also miss opportunities to get out of a traffic jam.
The flip side also applies. If I am so concerned with other things that I detract from my focus then I am wasting energy and neglecting my focus. When focus is scattered, momentum is lost and fear and uncertainty have an easier way of creeping in.

The moral of the story as in anything, is balance and moderation. Do not get so focused that you will miss the warning signs and dangers as well as opportunities. At the same do not scatter your focus to the extent that you are losing your momentum and flow.  I wish I had a quick rule of thumb for you that would work with all situations, but the reality is that each situation is different for each individual. What I can focus and concentrate on with optimum results will be different than  how your focus works. It takes practice to find your sweet spot, but once you get it, you will be unstoppable. It is a skill well worth cultivating and it will pay dividends in both your use of the Law of Attraction and in your success. To me they both lead the same way.
I hope you found this post helpful and as always don’t forget to comment here or better yet on our Facebook page and share this with anyone who may benefit.

WRITING IT DOWN: A RELEASE METHOD

FEAR
Good day and I hope you are having a great week. Today I put up a weblog about a way of dealing with feelings of fear and insecurity when it comes to accomplishing your goals. We all have fears when we have to step outside of our box. It is ok to feel that way. The more you keep that inside, however, the greater the chance that those thoughts will seep into your subconscious and become engrained resistances.

I hope you enjoy this short video blog and as always feel free to share and comment on this and other posts on our Facebook page.

WARNING: DO IT YOUR WAY

Good day and I hope you are having a great day.  Today's topic is about what works for you and your reaction to what others do.
This is a very advanced concept. It presumes you are comfortable with your visualization and being positive. I am going on the premiss that you take inspired action toward your wants.  I believe that you are grateful for your now, what ever that looks like at this moment. I take for granted that you are living your wants as though you have them and tell stories of how you achieved it in the now.

So all is well. Then what happens? You get cocky. You become the so called expert.  You look around and see someone doing things "differently" than you.  Then, in a perfectly good natured  way you tell them your way of doing things. They do not take your unsolicited advice well.  So now you are upset and are consumed by helping them see it your way.  This happens specially when you care for them, and want all the best for them.

Do not get off centered. The use of the law of attraction is not by compulsion.  When people are happy in their own way let them be, they are achieving the goal. They are happy.  Concentrate on your happiness and let others be.  Don't get into conflict over whose way of feeling good is better.  That is ludicrous.

Here the intent i.e. wanting a good for someone, is not the end all. The emotion and vibration you are giving is coming from scarcity i.e. there is only one way to feel good.  Are you following me? Don't get sucked into the trap.

When students of LOA find success, like any thing else they want to share it. There is nothing wrong with sharing and teaching; there is something wrong with forcing. Enjoy YOUR way and let people enjoy their way; it is the way the universe works best. Try to force it and you will attract more and more opportunities to have to force things. It is The Law of Attraction.  It works all the time and every time.

I hope you enjoyed this warning post and as alway feel free to share and comment on, and like our Facebook page.

EMERGENCY LANDING

Good day and I hope you are all well. I started this post intending on relating a recent incident I had to The Law of Attraction, but as I stared this I had to really stop myself and refocus.

On a trip to Canada I recently was a passenger of a plane that had nose gear locking indication light come on when trying to land in Chicago.  On approach to the runway, the pilot did a scrap, restored full throttle, we heard and felt the landing gear being stowed again, and went around for a semi emergency landing.  Everything went awesome and infact it was the softest landing I have had in a long time. As the emergency vehicles rushed to the plane I got some really cool pictures that I totally intended to put up on this post.  Then as I was making my way to the next gate and my adrenaline rush subsided I had really stop and ask myself WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Most people probably thought I was lost and was looking to find my next gate. It really hit me like a brick at how close I came to attracting more "emergencies" in my life.

I immediately  went to the picture files and deleted all of them.  That is the FOCUS of this blog. There are times in our lives when we really think it is cool, exciting, exhilarating, or fun to relay a misadventure or news of a disaster to others. This is more likely if we are actually part of it.  Myself included, at times we love to tell everyone about the bad things in our lives, or things we have seen.  It is a multimillion dollar media industry that banks on that. In this era of electronic tools like iPhones, and Android devices, and camera phones it is so easy to take pictures of disasters and put them on YouTube or give them to the local media that may pay you for them.

What are we asking for when we keep those vibration alive? I am thankful that I had a safe flight. I am grateful that I have a loving family, and I am not going to concentrate on incidences that I Do NOT want. The more we concentrate on bad things, the more bad things come into our lives.  This is the great thing about knowing  and PRACTICING WITH the Law of Attraction . I  now quickly recognized that I was giving attention and power to something that I do NOT want in my life. I was actually sending vibrations to get more opportunities to experience such scenarios in my life. Boy I am glad there is a time delay in all this. Universal laws work perfectly every time, and all the time.  By consciously realizing what I was doing,  I now can choose to concentrate on what I want and keep the joy in my mind by using Situation reverses to help me get over the excitement I may feel from a bad news situation.

I love the fact that I can share this with you, and I take great joy in believing that this story will help you do the same and concentrate on the great things in your life, like your family, friends, and the awesome life you have no matter what that looks like now.

I hope you enjoyed this post and as always please feel free to share and make sure to check out our Facebook Page as well and comment. Have a great week.
