Some times in pursuit of success we loose track of what is in our best interest. In the daily struggle and competition for reaching the next level of success we loose track of the point that the universe does work on the principle of competition. The only person we are competing with is the person whose thinking is creating the circumstances and our reality. Who is that person? That is right. That person is you. You are always only competing with yourself. You cannot control anyone else because you cannot think for anyone else. 
I recently came to the realization that sometimes I sacrifice my peace of mind, and my positive attitude at the moment, because I want to win the situation. So I get into an angry mood, which is not what I want, I get upset and in the end winning the situation really means nothing.
Dr. Robert Anthony has a different perspective on success than most teachers. He has learned from experience that the concentration on the monetary portion of the goal may not always be the best approach. His main focus and the focus of Bob Doyle another great teacher is on the total wellbeing of the person. When you make your focus be on feeling great and be at peace all the ancillary parts of that goal seem to fall into place, which also include the money portion.
The next time you find yourself getting angry or frustrated in pursuit of a goal for success reanalyze the way you are visualizing and concentrating on achieving that goal. See if you can come at it from an angle that enhances your peace of mind and you get to feel great. Sometimes that means you have to tune your competitiveness a notch down. Peace of mind and feeling great is much more healthy and worth more. I guarantee it. When you start getting angry your focus and your attention will bring more and more situations that will make you angry and that is no way to achieve true success. When you are focusing and achieving peace of mind that in turn will bring more and more of the situations that will enhance your peace of mind. So sometimes you may have to concede a position, or be more patient with someone. In these situation see what action feels better. Let your feeling be your guiding mechanism. Do not mistake this for procrastination though. There is a big difference. You know deep down in your belly if the good feeling is for the action or if there is guilt associated with it because you are procrastinating.

When to do affirmations? Does it matter?

Good day,
Today I wanted to go over some details on fine-tuning your work with the Law of Attraction. Although any form of goal setting and visualization is better than nothing, like any skill there is an optimum way of doing things. If you have been reading this blog or have any idea of how the Law of Attraction works you now know that it is not what you say that does the work but how you feel about the visualization that sends out the energy for all things to work their way to bring you opportunities for success. So merely getting up in the morning late for work and repeating “I am so happy and grateful now that I have $50,000” while trying to balance making coffee, changing the kid’s diaper and scanning the news paper is not going to have the same effect as being in a meditative state, calm and collected, feeling the gratitude in the moment and visualizing the exact amount and getting into the feeling of how it feels like.
In the book The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace Wattles emphasizes you should spend every free moment concentrating and visualizing the goals you want in extreme detail so that when through out the day you bring up the goal it is so ingrained into your subconscious that you don’t have to think in detail about it to get the good feeling vibration that will be responsible for manifesting the opportunities for action to achieve those goals.
This should not come as a surprise if you have read my e-book, Road map to life: A real world lesson or any other works on using the Law of Attraction. When you are in the hustle and bustle of daily life you are creating a vibration of lack or at the very least impatience. That is not what you want to send out in regards to your goals. This type of practice will actually delay and hinder achievement of your goals.
It is extremely difficult to try to turn your emotions on a dime. Visualization of your goals and dreams is not a chore and should never feel like work. Bob Doyle says this all the time. If it feels like work you are not in the right frame of mind to visualize your goals. Instead try working on feeling a little bit better and get calm. When you are happy and calm is the best time to really visualize and concentrate on what goals you want to achieve. Those are the times when you are hit with inspirational thoughts and when things just seem to fall in place.
So moral of the story is do visualize your goals as much as you can. Monitor your feelings when you are doing this exercise and make sure you are in a good feeling frame of mind to make the biggest impact. Lastly be patient. No matter what you may think, every thing is happening, as it should for your best interest.

Good day. Today’s blog is more on how to create your success, so I hope you enjoy it.  This came to me as I was trying to discipline my toddler to listen to what I wanted her to do. I kept on concentrating on wanting her to not scream, or not go on the furniture etc.
Most people go about manifesting their reality and future by concentrating on actions and not their thoughts. Actions like not wanting to be fat, or trying to loose weight, or fighting against drugs. All these are concentrating on lack and negativity. People concentrate on dressing for success, and spend hours preparing presentation for success, but do not give even 1/100th of their attention to the thoughts of success. Because actions are in the moment we have very little control over the feelings they arouse. Remember any circumstance has only two options as to the feelings they arouse; either positive or negative. If we are trying to solve a “problem” the actions associated with that usually carry with them feelings of frustration, anger, disappointment etc. As apposed to trying to solve a challenge, which bring about feeling of competition, excitement, and acheivment etc. Follow this visualization for example: Try to imagine this picture as I describe it to you:
Imagine you are walking on a beach in the Caribbean. The white sand is soft under your feet and it feels warm and comfortable as you leisurely are strolling along the beach. You hear the wave of the ocean crashing on the sand and as the water reaches your toes you feel the warmth of it on your skin. The sun is shining and there is not a single cloud in the sky. The sun is warming your shoulders and skin, and the cool breeze accompanying it feels so good. Could you see yourself smiling as you envisioned the little walk on the beach?
Now what I want you to do is NOT TO THINK OF THE STORM COMING ON THE BEACH. Remember I want you NOT TO THINK of the Storm.
You hear the news that says there is a category 3 hurricane coming to the island. The weather is turning cloudy… How are you doing with NOT thinking of the storm? Do you see how quickly the smile faded? Do you see how difficult it is to feel good when you are trying NOT to concentrate on some thing you don’t want?
The universal laws do not comprehend words of negation. What you are concentrating when you tell yourself I DON’T WANT this is actually inviting more and more thoughts of it and soon that event into your life.
Practice THINKING ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT, ahead of the action of entering into any situation. When you get a feeling of things not going the way they are supposed to it should be like WARNING LIGHTS AND ALARMS going off. It is very difficult at first and you will not succeed in turning every evet around immediately but believe me it is well worth the practice of trying to start feeling for the better and better feelings. It is like any skill some thing that you can master with time and practice and it really does not take as long as you may think. The reason is that once you start working by actually thinking your way through your day things will be so easy and flowing that you have no effort in trying to master this task. Small step at a time and you will reach a point of controlling  most of your day instead of moving about by defaults based on actions that happen to cross your path.
Things will still come up but you then will be at a much better vibration point and have the practice of turning your feeling about any circumstance as apposed to be driven and lead by it.
I am trying to work on this aspect every day of my life and although there are days that it is trying on my patience, it is a nice game that I play with myself to see how much self discipline I have to control it. It is kind of fun.

Good day all. I hope you are doing great.
No matter how many times I witness the Law of Attraction in action, it just never gets old. When my family starts to use it, then it just brings utter joy to my life. Let me illustrate how my wife used the Law of Attraction for the birth of our second child.
For the longest time we have wanted to have a natural birth, but even more special we wanted to have the child in the comfort of our own home, in a birth pool. We tried to do this with our first child but she was breached so that was that.
Even when we were thinking of it then, and in our joy, shared our ideas with friends many of them came up with how dangerous that would be. My wife’s friends told her how the labor would be 10 hours long, and it would be so difficult and painful, and how she should take the drugs and epidural etc.
Coming from a medical background even I doubted the procedure. I wanted a nice sterile environment, under the control of skilled professionals so if some thing went wrong, my wife would be taken care of; That became our reality because we concentrated on it. My first child was born through a C-section. Thank God she was happy, and healthy, and we had a great team of doctors and nurses that took good care of us. When my wife was pregnant with our second child, the same group of people said the same things about birth in general even though this time we kept our opinions to ourselves, until the last minutes. But the difference was that we were more in tune with how the Law of Attraction works. My wife constantly visualized the joy of having a child in a birth pool, in our home, with her sister and our little girl present.
As the birth was nearing we made arrangements with a midwife and coordinated with our doctor. We decided that it would be better if our little girl went and stay with her aunt, so we would not have to “worry” about her. So we planned to have my sister in law drive 4 hours to get my girl and take her for a couple of days surrounding the birth. Even now I do not know what we were thinking. Through out this time however,  in addition to her controlled breathing, my wife kept on visualizing the birth she wanted, with our daughter and her sister there.
I got all the supplies and all was good until 2 weeks before the due date. At 4:00 am my wife started feeling pressure. The night prior she had some small contractions lasting about 30 or so seconds so we knew it was not the real thing. We called them “practice run for the uterus”. This time though things were getting a bit stronger. By about 7:00am my wife told me to call the midwife. Not wanting to wake her up for a fake contraction I texted her. Can you believe that? She called me and when I explained to her the situation she told me she was on her way. So, still not believing it was the real thing, I thought well may be I’ll get the pool ready and the hose set up.
Well the baby came at 10:33 am that morning. Not only was our daughter there next to her mommy encouraging her. She is only 2 ½ mind you. But also since we were surprised I also called my sister in law at around 6:30am. My sister in law arrived at 10:30 am. My wife had about 8 minutes of pushing and a total of 6 hrs of labor and we had a perfect birth.
I think that is a bit more impressive than getting a parking spot.

When people learn about how the Law of Attraction works they think it is a catch 22. The most common objection is how can I feel about having something BEFORE having it? It would be a catch 22 if we did not have the ability to control our thoughts as well as our emotions. The fact that we are human and can control those aspects puts us in control. Is it easier to concentrate and feel emotions about some thing that is already happening? SURE it is, but that is going about living our lives by default. That is what the majority of people do. But as some one once said, “all the dogs barking at the same tree does not make it the right one”.  This is probably why people say the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. But more often than not the successful know the rules or have been taught how to use it, and the unsuccessful have been stuck in a rut and because they have no idea how to get out they continue to bring more and more of it on themselves. When we are feeling good about success that we have achieved already, it is great but it is playing the game backwards.
To take control of our reality we need to work on creating our reality by purpose not by default. Here we have to remember that the process has to be fun and enjoyable. It is not a contest. It is not a race against any one else. There is no limited amount of success out there. You are only responsible for your own reality. There is ample amount of opportunities for every one. Just because you are successful does not mean you are taking the opportunity AWAY FROM SOMEONE ELSE.
Success has nothing to do with your background, who you are, how much education you have, or how good looking you are. Success does not even care about how hard you work or how lazy you are. When you create your own reality the action steps do not seem like work. In this manner I am using the word “work” to mean doing some thing that I do not enjoy and which stir unhappy feelings in me. When I am taking action that makes me feel great and I enjoy towards my goals, it seems effortless. That is the way it should be, and that is the way it can be.
The secret to doing this is to take little incremental steps. This is nothing new. Any big task when broken down to little manageable steps becomes easy. You do not see construction crews trying to put a skyscraper together all at once. Step by step, the foundation is set and every part is planned and slowly the skeleton of the building is built and little by little construction progresses until one day you see a whole new building in place.
Using the Law of Attraction to achieve success is the same. When you are feeling like some one beat the crap out of you, it is very difficult to feel joyful and excited about the project at work that you want to finish. When it seems that no one cares, and that every thing is going wrong, your feelings are a warning sign to you that some how YOU HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF INTO VIBRATIONAL MATCH WITH some thing that causes you to feel overwhelmed or some other negative and counter productive feeling. I am sure some people can get themselves turned around rapidly but for most of us it is not about hitting a home run here. It is about base hits. The great thing is that you realized that what is happening DOES NOT FEEL GOOD. When that is the case if you continue on with this feeling, by the law of attraction more events that DO NOT FEEL GOOD must come into your experience. Here is when we have a choice. It is easy to feel the reality of the moment but that will only get us what we have been getting i.e. the “not so good” feelings.
You control your emotions. What ever you want to say to argue that point, it is a reality that you can control your emotions. Little by little you can make yourself feel good. Jerry and Esther Hicks in their books and CDs mention an “EMOTIONAL GUIDANCE SCALE”.  I highly suggest you read Ask and It Is Given by Jerry and Esther Hicks. In that book, there are many examples of how to turn around your feelings. Even when you are at your worst point you have a choice to feel powerless, or move a slight step up by choosing to be pissed off, and regain some power. After being pissed you can reach for another feeling that feels a little better like hope. Jerry and Esther Hicks have mentioned 22 different emotional steps. But the number, and the name are not important. What is important is for you to reach for a feeling that FEELS A LITTLE BETTER. Concentrate on that feeling and soon a new thought will come to you that feel a little better. Keep on concentrating on that feeling and on that thought and more and more thoughts will come to make you feel a little less hopeless and soon it even may start to feel like relief, and then the feeling is better, and then it feels like it is not so bad after all, and then it feels good.
This takes some work. Just like any skill when you first try to do this you will find yourself submerged in the feeling of the moment. It is ok and it is natural because that is what we have been doing all our lives. You are now learning a new skill. No matter how long it takes for you to realize that you are now in a moment that DOES NOT FEEL GOOD, once you make that realization you are free. The first step is realizing it. The next step is to reach for something that feels a little better.
So you see it is NOT A CATCH 22. It is a skill that can be practiced just like anything else you have learned in your life and as you practice it day by day you will get more accomplished at it and you can soon turn your feelings around on a dime.
By that time you will be so good at monitoring your thoughts that your life will proceed along as you intend it to and not by default based on the circumstances of the surrounding. If for some reason you happen to find yourself out of tune with the good vibration you then know what you need to do and with the confidence of practiced skill you will turn it around.
It is a great game to practice. It is you life to lead. You are responsible for it. You CAN BE AND HAVE WHAT EVER YOU WANT. Life is joyous. Take solace in that true and factual statement.

I hope you are well. Today I wanted to share with you some examples that I was faced with which helped me understand how  the book THINK AND GROW RICH (TGR) relates closely to The Law of attraction (LOA).
Everything written in TGR correlates with LOA. TGR states that the 1st step in reaching your goals is to develop a burning desire for a specific and clearly defined goal. LOA states be clear and notice how you feel about it from the stand point of your desire and your current position. It is your feelings that send out the vibration of your thoughts. This is the key weather you follow TGR or LOA.
Let me share with you a couple of recent examples that may clarify some things. For a while now I have wanted a Porsche 911 convertible. It is what you might call my dream car. So when I first started to learn about the Law of Attraction (LOA), I became very excited about that desire. I went to the Porsche web site and "built my own car", printed the picture and placed it in my office and even on the steering wheel of my current vehicle. I visualized the feelings of enjoying a ride in my car with my wife and child.
Soon I wold see Porsche's every where. I got an e-mail from dealer about their new marketing where you could go and drive a Porsche for 1 mile. I did that as well. I changed my mind on the color and the model after that experience. Then on a business trip, I had an appointment late in the day cancel on me and I went to another dealer  and looked at some new models and some of their used vehicles. Everything was falling into place so nicely vibrationally. Suddenly though, I started to think how we did not have enough room in our garage for another car. I did not want to leave my Porsche outside of course.  Then I started to wonder how my family would react if I drove up in my new Porsche at one of the gatherings. Specifically I felt like there would be feelings of jealousy instead of pride and happiness. This was very unusual in my case.
So even though my thoughts were on my dream car, my feelings changed from good to uncomfortable, to doubt. This is very important because as that shift happened I stopped seeing Porsche, or had opportunities to be around them.
It was so amazing to realize what was happening. The burning desire and the feelings are the key. Events and opportunities will fall into place for you to make sure this IS EXACTLY what you want and that it is a good fit for you. If your desires and feeling change, then the manifestation is delayed.
The same thing happened when I got interested in an i PAD.  One of my clients casually mentioned that Best Buys has them out and suggested I go and play with them. Another client told me the spread sheet function does not flow well with Microsoft Excel program. I found some time to go to the store and play with it and found out that it really was not a good fit for what I wanted, and changed my mind to a Kindle.
So what is the point of all this? Your goals and success depends on how you are feeling about the PROCESS. If the burning desire is there, you will push through when doubt and discomfort appear regarding your goal. Your feelings are your guiding system and your map to weather you are on the right path or not. Feel good about the process as you are moving along and it will manifest in a positive manner. Feel bad and it will manifest more situations to keep you feeling bad. Once I doubted the usefulness of the i PAD, more and more events came up to convince me it was not for me. That can be a protective mechanism as well as self fulfilling.
 That is what I attracted. It worked for me and I was not even aware of it. Had I wanted the i PAD from a purely non functional point of view in my situation I would have pushed through the negative situations and the events would have turned out differently.
Be aware of your feelings because they are the best way for you to realized if there is a disconnect between what you REALLY want and where you are currently. Once you are aware of those feelings you can make course corrections and ALWAYS REALIZE YOU CONTROL HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT EVERYTHING.

Good day all,
This is a short but to the point post. Similar to the post I made entitled "You are right, and I am wrong"( you are right, and I am wrong ) this is a post of realization.
Here is the key point of the law of attraction: Similar to what Henry Ford said,  weather you believe it or not you are right. That is the reality of the Law of Attraction. By the definition of it what ever you decide to believe is your reality. That is why I do not argue or force this concept that I know for a fact is critical to any success. It is frustrating to see and know that people, specially those you love, can be happier and live an easier, more abundant life, but it is not our job or in our control to make people believe. Only THE person has control over it.
So when people say "that is a bunch of hawg wash" then there is no point about arguing because that will be their reality. For "THEM" the law of attraction will not work because they are focusing on it not working, and that is what will be attracted to them.
Remember what ever we focus on with emotions and passion will send out an energy vibration that will bring more and more of that energy so we keep on feeling the way we are feeling. If you want to feel good then start feeling good and concentrate on small steps that makes you feel good. Jerry and Esther Hicks have a process called the "RAMPAGE OF APPRECIATION" in which you look at your surroundings and find things that genuinely will make you feel appreciative, and happy. Small things. Like what a great weather we are having right now. If you are honest with yourself that thought will bring about other things you can feel appreciative for and more and more things that you can feel good about will manifest to keep you feeling that way. Soon you will start to be overwhelmed with joy and appreciation and isn't that a wonderful thing to be able to control by design?

Good news about the END OF DAYS

Good morning everyone. Happy Thanks Giving.
I was watching the history channel the other day totally engulfed in the life of Issac Newton. This program concentrated on how he had calculated the end of the world to happen in 2064. Coincidentally I was also listening to a program by Jerry and Esther Hicks (Abraham Hicks tapes) about the Law of Attraction in Action. While I was listening to that program something clicked in my brain that I want to share with you in this blog and see if we can generate some discussion around it. I do not intend to disrespect any religion or belief in this post. It is just a forum for discussion.
Esther Hicks said that we are "the leading edge of universe, by virtue of the fact that we send out vibrations of our wants". She said that the universe is expanding by this virtue. I also have heard that in the beginning, the universe expanded very rapidly. The Big Bang theory stated in a fraction of a second the universe expanded and then it slowed down in its expansion. Now however, scientists calculated that the universe is expanding again at an increasing rate.
So thinking about the Law of Attraction and the way Abraham (through Esther Hicks) teaches, it is conceivable that as we come to understand and control our thoughts, we keep on contributing to the expansion of the universe. When we keep those thoughts positive we keep on sending vibration of good and the universe has to respond by matching that vibration in its expansion. So as our universe expands with better and better vibrations the disastrous conclusions about the END OF DAYS become a mute point.
Having said that I am also spiritual and part of me likes to believe that at some point we will have to be judged for our deeds. But I do not look at it as a all ending chaos and destruction. I choose to look at it as a changing of energy, rather than destruction of all things. This way of thinking keeps my religious beliefs in line with my scientific background and there is no conflict. Science tells us that energy can not be created nor destroyed. It can only change forms.
It is a much nicer and comforting thought to view life as a form of this energy and death as a changing of that form into another. Death is not the end by any means it is just a change in the vibration.
I hope this makes those people who concentrate on the media propaganda surrounding the 2012 and other so called apocalyptic predictions a little more hopeful. Instead of concentrating on everything coming to an destructive end, focus your thoughts on the good things you want in your life and let the universe expand by your thoughts and raise your vibration to match what you want. That is success.

Good day every one,
I hope you are well. In this post I want to focus on the fact that most people are more critical of themselves than any one else. In the past this trait may have been looked at as a productive character, however, the more we understand how our subconscious works, the more dangerous this trait appears.
Most negative self-talk happens in the times of high emotional charge. May be when we make a mistake, or when some one has taken advantage of us, or when some thing has not gone the way we wanted it to go and we loose all rational thought and start bashing ourselves to gain some semblance of control. As though by hurting our own feelings, it will make things better. Well I am here to tell you that if that is the pattern you follow you are doing much more damage than just hurting your feelings. You are actually sending negative and self defeating thoughts right through the guardian of your subconscious through to the core of your beliefs and that is where they will create resistance and block all the good work you are doing by working with the Law of Attraction.
In my e-book Road Map to life I have a chapter on how to set and achieve your goals. There are 6 steps and they are designed to get the positive picture of what you want to have into your subconscious, because only then will your subconscious start looking for opportunities and doors seem to open to help you achieve what you want. When you engage in negative self-talk you are essentially setting up a goal to fail. Let me say that again, with negative self-talk or any other self criticism you are setting up a goal to fail. What's even worse is that you are putting more emotions and effort into this than you are in attaining your actual positive goals. Do you see how important it is to monitor your thoughts and stop engaging in self bashing?
Most people at one time or another have made mistakes and blamed themselves, but it is now your turn to realize that it does no good, and in fact it is destructive to your success if you continue to beat yourself up when ever you make a mistake. It is like being a child and having some one repeatedly tell you that you're worthless. You can easily see the impact that can have on your future, and by treating yourself bad when things are not going the way you wanted them to, you are actually doing much more harm than if you were put down when you were a child. Because the talk is coming directly from you and it is taken as fact without resistance.
The next time you find yourself wanting to beat yourself up remember this post and take a deep breath and see how you can learn from the mistake instead, and put your energy into setting positive goals and acheiving them .

Good day all,
 I hope you are well and the week is going great. Today I want to shed some light on consciously monitoring your thoughts and what role that action plays in your ultimate success or failure. To get the best out of this post you need to be familiar with The Law of Attraction so if you have not done so please go back to the earlier posts on law of attraction. Here is  the one I wrote about the basics: Basics of the law of attraction
From there read the follow up posts until you are comfortable with how the Law of Attraction works and then come back to this post.
Once you are familiar with the LOA you can understand how important it is to make sure you minimize the amount of junk going into your subconscious. Your conscious mind is the gate keeper of what goes through to your subconscious mind.  When you are aware of the thoughts that you are faced with every day, your rational mind will be the filter of what to send to your subconscious and what to reject. Realize that when you are in a state of fear, anxiety, depression, etc your subconscious is left unguarded. Any thing you come in contact with like music, television, chatter during the time of emotional excitement will pass through to your subconscious. The subconscious mind does not judge or evaluate, it just accepts. Your subconscious thoughts are what gets to the vibrational level to be manifested in your reality. That is how the law of attraction works. You have to get what you consciously want in your life transferred to your subconscious mind. According to Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich, the only way to influence the subconscious mind in a planned, conscious way is through "Auto Suggestion".  That is through repetition of statements that you want to transfer to your subconscious mind.  That is how you alter and change the deep routed thoughts and false beliefs that are holding you back. But you have to train yourself to look out for negativity when you are most vulnerable. You are most vulnerable when you have the emotions of fear, anxiety, and depression and if you are not focusing on what stimuli in your surrounding is being broadcast to your subconscious you will keep on building resistance that will keep you from success and in most cases you will not even know what they are. As an example if you are sad and angry at the amount of money you have, that negativity will get through to your subconscious and it will attract more of like reality which is more lack of money.
It takes discipline and practice to become an observer in times of emotional stress, but that is the price of fast track to success. Because negativity is all around us and these emotions (Fear, anger, despair, depression)  in themselves carry negative energy it is critical that you consciously prevent them from reaching your subconscious so they do not attract more of the negative energy to you.
The good news is that any negative resistance you have can be cleared and replaced by using techniques like the Emotional Freedom Technique and the Sedona Method, as well as the use of Auto Suggestion to replace the negative beliefs with new positive ones. Once you are the master of your mind and your thoughts you WILL BE THE MASTER OF YOUR REALITY. It is a great place to be and well worth the effort. When you think about it the price you pay in discipline and practice is nothing compared to having complete control over your reality. Now it is your time. Good day all,
Today I want to come back to a principal that is hard to accept when it is happening to you. That is when we face adversity. When things are going not so great for us it is hard to see the silver lining. No matter what we have heard or read, it is hard to see how a bad situation is going to benefit us. So now that you are reading this and I am hoping you are in a neutral frame of mind I want to put into your mind this fact so you can rely on it when the time of need arises.
Napoleon Hill's famous quote in Think and Grow Rich said "With every adversity there comes the seeds of equivalent or greater success".  I must admit, there have been times when I have tried to see where the seeds could possibly be, but at the time I could find no answer. The key to this is patience and open mind with Positive Mental Attitude. W. Clement Stone added that last part to Napoleon Hill's quote saying "Every adversity brings with it the seeds of equivalent or greater success with positive mental attitude".
Let me use a practical example from nature. My wife's grandfather lived on a farm. He used to make the wheels of his wagon from the strongest trees that grew on their farm. Do you want to take a guess where the strongest wood came from? When my wife's family were clearing the land for farming they left few trees out in the open. These trees were constantly facing the 'ADVERSITY' of the weather. They were beaten and pushed and pulled in the wind, rain, snow, and the sun day in and day out through the years. These trees that were out in the open were the ones that my wife's grandfather use to make the wheels of the wagons because they were the strongest. The trees in the forest that were sheltered by the masses of the trees were not strong enough to provide the wood needed for the wheels of the wagon. Adversity makes you stronger as long as you do not give up and quit.
I also remember one of my mentors telling me that when we stop making mistakes we are dead. Our life is full of making and learning from our mistakes. That is how we grow and learn. I am sure we all have heard that Thomas Edison tired AND failed over ten thousand (10,000) times before he perfected the electric light bulb. The authors of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfiled had tried to publish their books thousands of times and had received thousands of rejections. This in the face of the fact that they had signatures from thousands of people promising to buy the book when it was published. Jack Canfield said in one of his telephone coaching sessions that it took him 5 years before he made his million dollar check. Now the Chicken Soup for the Soul series is a best seller many times over. Any thing that Jack Canfield or Mark Victor Hansen now put their name to becomes an automatic best seller. I would say 5 years is a small price to pay for the countless riches that follow not giving up when adversity rears its head.
So take this to heart, the next time you are faced with situations when things are not going your way. Look and be open for opportunities which will bring you greater success.

My Scientific Proof of The Law of Attraction Part 2:

Good day all,
So we have discussed how observation of energy made it act like matter instead of wave. The Law of Attraction says that what ever we focus on with emotions and energy will materialize in our reality as long as there is no resistance blocking it. All around us the world is energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It just changes form. Here is where I had to take a leap of faith based on the information I had gathered and I could be completely off, but it is working for me so I wanted to share how I see this working in my life. Einstein mathematically proved some thing like 11 different dimensions. There may be more or less, but definitely more than 3.  We live in only 3. So where is the rest? I am going to take it as fact that Einstein was correct because I really can not understand the math behind it but I would guess some one by now would have proven him wrong if he was not correct.
Putting all this together seems like science fiction but remember the act of going into space was at some point science fiction. So dream with me for a second: I pictured our universe as a series of different events and waves of possibility existing at the same time. That means every one, and every thing has infinite possibilities of manifesting into particles (reality) at any particular time. It is like being on different time lines where each path would give different results, but all possibilities being available at the same time in a fluid wave form of energy going about until a focus is achieved to change the wave into particle and that becomes the reality at that moment. Here is the IMPORTANT part, the focus can happen by default as most of us go through life, or it can be by purposeful application of correct thinking and emotionalizing those thoughts to the point where they reach the subconscious. I believe that only thoughts through the subconscious can affect the waves of possibility and turn them into reality.
For example if I am going from point A to point B and there are 3 traffic lights between the two points, when I start there are infinite combination of events that can happen as far as those lights are concerned. My emotionalized focus on all 3 of them being green, will force the waves of energy of that moment to take the form of that possibility, namely being green. By the same token when I am worried, or stressed (very strong emotions by the way), these emotions cause focus to be towards a reality that will continue perpetuating those emotions of worry and stress and the greatest reality to do that is to have all 3 lights be red and delay me in getting to my destination. I have used this analogy in my earlier posts in explaining how the law of attraction works. Isn’t it funny that whenever you are late for an appointment, everything seems to keep you from getting there on time? Well that is my explanation of it.
So you being able to control your reactions to events in your life, trains your mind to consider other possibilities, and if you do this long enough with emotion and passion then I believe you can create realities from the infinite possibilities of energy that surrounds you.
Do not mistake this to mean that you can sit on the couch and visualize and things will magically appear. There is no such reality, because you do not tell the energy how to take the form of particles. To try to dictate the how is a form of resistance and you are limiting your possibilities if you try to do that. The transformation of waves of energy to your designed reality will take form in steps and those steps come to you in the form of opportunities and circumstances that will require you to take action and follow those steps further focusing the wave of energy to the point of reality you want. Isn’t this the greatest thing? The difference between humans and other forms of life is that most living things go about by instinct. A seed has no other focus than to grow into a tree. It does not have the ability to think I am going to be a rock. There is a nice order to things. But I truly believe in the next decade or so an evolution of human kind will start to take place as more and more people will understand the universal laws like the law of attraction and as they try to use it to achieve success in their lives, health, and professional careers there will be more and more studies done on how and why it works. For now I like my explanation because it is working for me. I hope it helps you get around the mysticism of The Law of Attraction and start using it to achieve your goals and success in every thing you do.

My Scientific proof for the Law of Attraction part 1:

Good day
This is a two-part post for the more scientific and fact based audience of my blog. I am for the most part of the scientifically minded community. When I was first introduced the Law of Attraction, I was skeptical to say the least. When people and book suggested that I could use the Law of Attraction to achieve success and that principles of success frequently use the Law of Attraction, I was curious. So with a little digging and an open mind I went in search of trying to convince myself that the parking spots I was getting and the magical way that thing started to work out for the better were in fact because of me changing my thought patterns and not by coincidence. After all when the 1st premise of using a new tool is that what ever is happening in your life right now is because YOU have brought into your life, I needed to understand exactly why things were not going the way I wanted them hitherto, and by extrapolation how in the world was I to blame.
I set this up in two parts because the first part will be fact based and scientific. The 2nd part of the blog will build on the faith that the 1st part should create. That is how my brain works. I am analytical and a scientific method is the easiest way for me to understand abstract. Unless I can logically justify some thing, it is very difficult for me to have blind faith in it (Theology excluding). Since The Law of Attraction has not been the focus of mainstream discussion, even though it has been around since the beginning of time, there is not too much “main Stream” proof for it. So the purpose of this section is to build on scientific knowledge so you can take the next step if that is what is holding you back in creating success and abundance in your life through the use of The Law of Attraction.
I am going to take you back to your high school physics. And here you thought when am I going to use this stuff ever again right? We know that things are not solid. They are made up of molecules held together but ionic and covalent bonds. Molecules in themselves then are made up of electrons and protons. Well electrons are easily explained as energy; energy waves that fluctuate between different levels of excitement. There is a famous experiment called the Double Slit Experiment that was designed to once and for all determine if electrons were particles, or waves. And that is when everything changed. When I studied this in class the power and extrapolation of it in real life and application to success did not even cross my mind. Take a look at this YouTube Video that easily explains it:

So the mere act of observing caused the electrons to act as matter and not wave. That is where things get clear for me. Focus on energy (electron) causes it to go from waves to particles. Deductive reasoning then tells me that if our world and every thing in it are energy, my focus on it will bring it into the form of particles. This much I could understand and logic out for myself. The next part is where I have to take this knowledge and apply it to principles of the Law of Attraction and that is the topic of part two. Please feel free to leave me a comment on what you think. Why is there SCARCITY? Or is there?

Good day everyone,
I was reading the Master Key System which is a book that highly influenced the  popular book/movie The Secret again a few days ago and I noticed a great quote in it: "... nature makes 2 blade of grass grow where there was once one".  If you look at the world in general only humans seem to concentrate on scarcity. Every where else you see that nature does nothing with scarcity. You don't see tree's with one branch. You don't see confusion or procrastination in the wild. Instinct has taught the animals that they have to believe in the fact that nature will provide and then take action to get it, or they will perish.
As the top of the food chain humans have the ability to reason and control their thoughts. This ability also allows us to built fears, and insecurities which hinder our belief in ourselves. I was told the FEAR stands for FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL. That is so great and true most of the time.  In my my e-book and many other works on success and the Law of Attraction the critical step in achieving your goals is complete belief in the final outcome. That is why it is important to repeatedly go over and visualize your goals with feelings as if you have already achieved them, because the repetition will instill belief in you. It is not a bad or a good thing. It just is. You now know what is the law and you can work with it. When you believe in some thing, I mean truly believe, it will manifests. If you are not familiar with this concept please go to the beginning of this blog and read the earlier posts on the law of attraction.
Think about some thing you are good at or a time where you were in the zone. I remember times on the basketball court where as soon as the ball left my hand I knew, I knew for certain, 100 percent that it was going in the basket. And guess what? When i had that feeling it always did. It is a universal law. It is the law of attraction.
As human beings we have lost our reliance on instinct for the most part. That is part of our nature, and so is the fact that  we have the ability to control our thoughts. This powerful ability is what sets us apart from any other creature in this universe. I will end by quoting Napoleon Hill which sums up the concept eloquently, "What ever the mind of man can conceive and BELIEVE, the mind of man can ACHIEVE".

Good day all,
A few evenings ago I was at a family member's house visiting some friends and family that had just come to Southern California. Interesting things happened. One of my father's cousins has this incredible knack for looking at the negative side of things, to a point that I have made a habit of avoiding conversations that require any thought or any real content because experience has taught me that he will look at all that is wrong. As I am writing this it is occurring to me that perhaps my expectation of how he reacts has allot to do with my encounters with him. Note to self to change my view of interacting with him in the future. But I digress. Any way, we were discussing health insurance and the economy etc. He was telling us that his COBRA was running out and in talking with his adviser they told him that he could apply for Medi-Cal. He suddenly started saying that how much paper work is involved that he has to go through applying for Medi-Care and then not qualify to be considered for Medi-Cal. Most of my family is so grateful and honored to live in the best country in the world, The United States, and the obvious comment that some one made was "so you are saying that you want free money and free care but you don't even want to go through the process of doing the minuet work of getting it?". Every one laughed and we moved on. Then the topic of retirement and taxes arose and this guy started arguing with one of my uncles best friends who always only comments on things he knows. The gentleman tried to educate my father's cousin to no end and finally he just said "you know what, YOU ARE RIGHT AND I AM WRONG. End of story".  Another family member asked "How does that feel?". Laughs all around ensued. But the point was made in a very classy way.
This was a great moment and gave me an opportunity to learn. So many times I try to help people by teaching and expressing the blessings I have received, and the success I have achieved through using the LAW OF ATTRACTION. But some people are just not ready or open to it and I end up bringing down my vibration in the process. It is really not worth it. People will get there if they are open and meant to get there on their own time. So It is a great line that I will use from now on. You are right and I am wrong, now how does that feel?

Good day,
One of the things that some one suggested to me recently was to monitor my day and my reactions to the events of the day. I thought it was a good idea but as the day went along and life happened, I never seemed to get to actually doing it. I kept on saying I will do it later, and later and before I knew it, I was going to sleep.
The next day I actually put it in my calendar for the rest of the week. I picked different times of the day for each day of the week and put one or two questions like, how many times have I been optimistic? How have I reacted to situations where things have not gone exactly the way I expected it?
These serve as a reminder for me at mid day that I have a choice about the reaction I have to circumstances that happen in my life and it keeps me concentrating on the positive.
Many teachers say it takes a repetition of 21 days for an action to become a habit. So  I figure by next month this should just become a habit and I will no longer need to put it in my calendar. If I forgot however, then it is a good method of keeping a check on my attitude and vibration.

Pretend you are your own best friend...

Good day all,
We all realize that it is really difficult to be positive all the time. Especially if you are new to this way of thinking and new to how the Law of Attraction works. It is OK to feel a bit frustrated, but recently I was introduced to a technique that has helped me and I wanted to share it with you here in the hopes that some one else may benefit from it.
As much as I want to keep a positive attitude, part of my work deals with sales and as you can guess some times customers can test your patience. I found myself getting out of my positive vibrations for moments at a time and had to really work on getting my 'groove' back in order to prevent the rest of my day going down hill. The technique that I learned was very simple but it has helped.
In every moment pretend that you are actually your own best friend tagging along. Try to be a unbiased friend that is looking in on the daily routine of your life. When things that are not exactly positive happen to you realize that you do have a choice about how YOU FEEL about them. What does your best friend tell you. In every moment when stuff hits the fan look to your friend and see what he will see in you. Imagine with me, for a second: Some thing just went wrong and you just lost it and started to cuss and scream and make a total you know what out of yourself. If your best friend is there watching you what would be his reaction? You do have choice remember and taking it from a 3rd person some how brings logic back and makes you realize that making a big scene really does nothing to help the situation.

Do we know what we want ?

Good day all,
I like listening and learning more and more about the Law of Attraction and Success so I am always listening and reading all I can on the subject. Recently I have kept on seeing, listening or reading about the same sort of theme. So I figured I share that with you since it keeps on coming up.
In this blog, in my book, and the books I have recommended there are detailed instruction on how to go about setting goals to attain what you want and get it. The question that was posed that I had to think about for a few days is "do I know what I want?"
In the process of visualizing and feeling the feeling of having the goals I want, I frequently modify and change them because my desires change. Since I am very familiar with how the Law of Attraction works it does not bother me, that this action slows down the manifestation of my desire. I also know that the more I stress over the timing of why my desire has not manifested I send out the negative vibration that counter acts my goal in the form of resistance. Having said all that though many of the masters point out the fact that if we visualize the big picture of the kind of life we want all the other stuff will fall into place.
For example if I want to manifest $1,000,000 will that really satisfy me? Is it enough? If I want a particular model of Porsche will that satisfy my desire? In contrast if I concentrate on being in peace and happy and MORE IMPORTANTLY be grateful about the happiness I enjoy in the present the things that will bring me happiness and peace will the subject of my concentration and hence the vibration I am sending out.
Let me try to put it in an example: I can concentrate on being happy and grateful that all my bills are paid on time and without any effort. The source is providing me with a great home and great family and I am enjoying what I do every day. Those things encompass a bigger picture than I want a 4000 sq foot house.
The other thing that I have recently concentrated on is that some times I may not be ready for what I want to manifest. In such instances feelings of RESISTANCE come to surface, that will not only hinder my goals to success but actually will sabotage my feelings and send out the wrong kind of vibration.
If for example when I am visualizing a Porsche 911 convertible and in trying to get the feeling of gratitude and the feeling of having it, there is some thing in the pit of my stomach that says "no way", or "Holly cow that is so expensive", this indicates resistances that I may not be aware of consciously.
You can use releasing techniques described in my book or any other source to get rid of those resistances. The focus on the bigger picture some times will also bring up feeling that need to be dealt with and those feeling may not come up if you are just concentrating on short term objectives.
So what is the best way of setting up goals? I wish I could tell you one way is the best but like all profound things the answer is a combination of using your visualization both on big picture goals and on short term goals. This should be fun. Remember you are now aware that your thoughts shape your future. You are no longer going about by default. This is exciting and I hope you are as excited as I was when I first discovered that I am in power.

Good morning everyone. I hope you are having a great day.
If you are familiar with this blog and my e-book you know that one of the biggest things I have emphasized in achieving your goals and dreams is  the reading of those "written" goals out loud to yourself at least daily. I get asked does it matter if you do this quietly or out loud?
To tell you the truth I understood it to actually matter allot weather you read your goals out loud or quietly but I really did not have an explanation for it and being a scientist that bothered me a bit. Today while I was listening to, you guessed it, Think and Grow Rich in my car as I was going to jiu jitsu it was made clear.
Napoleon Hills explained that the vibration of sound brings your thought vibrations to your subconscious. We have all heard that if you repeat something long enough you believe it. Well it is the actual repeating out loud that has the greatest impact. When you are sub-vocalizing, or as people say read quietly, your conscious mind is more in command, and as we know the conscious mind is the gate keeper of what is transferred to our subconscious mind. The vibration of sound seems to have a better impact on our subconscious by raising the vibration. Every thing is energy and to successfully implement your goals of success you have to raise your vibration and the vibration of those thoughts to match the vibration of the reality that those thoughts will manifest.  If you and your thoughts of what you want are not in vibration with the reality of those thoughts nothing will happen.
This may be confusing but the easiest way it made sense to me is this: to be in resonance with the vibration of the reality I want means absolute faith in the fact that my goal has been achieved. If you can truly without any reservation have faith that you have attained your goal it will happen. Most of us however, have resistances that slow down or block our goals from coming into reality. The audible repetition of your goals with THE FEELING associated with having those goals achieved in the now is a method of developing that faith. Faith is essentially belief in attainment without actual proof. According to Napoleon Hill autosuggestion is the only method to develop faith in the fact that you will achieve your goals.

Good day every one,
I hope you are all well and having an awesome day. I am asked many times this question of "why does negativity persist so hard? or Why is there so much emphasis on negativity?" etc. That is a good question and one that I asked when I was first introduced to the concept of the Law of Attraction. I keep on reading that people have not been able to use the concepts they saw in the movie/book THE SECRET.  That never made any sense to me because I never had that issue. The concept of the Law of Attraction worked for me as I mentioned in my e-book from he beginning and I think the main reason is that I always work hard on putting the emotion into it. Never the less I did have the same question of why is the DEFAULT always negative. Why aren't  more and more people able to use the LOA to make a better life and better reality for themselves. Well the answer has been mentioned many times over and just recently as I was reading Think and Grow Rich for the umpteenth time it hit me in the head and I had to write it here in the hopes that if any one else is looking for the answer it helps them.
Bluntly put the answer is: BECAUSE WE ARE LAZY. By nature human beings seek the path of least resistance. We like things to be easy specially if we live and have been raised in the Western style of living. We like our "fast food". We like to shop online. We like to not have to think about a great gift and just give "gift cards". We justify it by saying "well they can use the gift card to get what ever they want". I know I have said it. But personally I just happened to be late or lazy to put some time into getting the gift. The same question could be asked this way: "WHY DOESN'T EVERY ONE HAVE A BODY OF SUPER MODELS OR BODYBUILDERS?".  The answer becomes obvious when you put it that way, doesn't it? Yes because it takes work.
Fear, doubt, complacency, are not only negative actions that keep us from expanding our comfort zone but they are also easy. It takes no effort to be afraid of doing something. Because you can just not do it. It takes effort and work to think positive. Specially if your whole life you have been bombarded by the media and newspapers and pop culture songs who's theme are depressing and negative.
To be positive and feed your mind and subconscious positive foods takes work. Just like developing the physic of  a model takes work and discipline. That is why most people are NOT living their potential reality. That is why just saying the words and not putting emotions into your visualization does not work as well or at all.  Most people either do not know how to bring about their reality they way it should be, in which case they should read mine or other books written on the subject, or they are not willing to put in the effort it takes to change their lives because the PAIN of their current situation has not reached the point where it over takes the COMFORT ZONE of their current reality.
The sad thing is that it really is fun to concentrate on positive thoughts. It is fun to listen to works of literature that are filled with inspiring lessons. It is fun to be happy all the time. It is fun not to get angry or jealous and yes it is even fun to forgive those who wrong us. It just takes a little practice and pretty soon it is a habit. The results are pretty cool as well. It is fun to be successful what ever your definition of success happens to be.

Good day everyone,
Occasionally when I am driving I happen to catch the news update on the radio station I happen to be listening to if I have forgotten my audio books etc. Recently I heard that some homeowners in Malibu or some place like that had complained to the city that the homeless population were defecating on their property. When the news crew went to interview the homeless man you have no idea what the response was. The man replied to the question of why they are vandalizing homeowners properties by defecating on their yard in this manner and I quote "well if they don't want me to use the bathroom on their property they should just get a porta-potty and put it in their yard. If they live here they can afford to rent a porta-potty". Now the news presented this as a comic relief in sorts, but I started thinking when did the situation get to a point of taking absolute no accountability for our actions.
This blog is about success and habits that will take us there. The most important and one of the pillars of success that many people and teachers preach is TAKING PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for our actions. We all do things that will backfire. We all will and have made mistakes. I just made one the other day in dealing with a large banking institution. No matter how I may feel that I was wronged when it comes to the heart of the matter, the point was that I did not do my due diligence and did not read the fine print. I can sit here and moan and complain and play the victim, or I can just move on and chalk it to a lesson learned and hopefully never repeated that will serve me in the long run.
So after taking personal responsibility, learn from your mistake and move on. Once the action is done there is no benefit from going over and over the issue again and again. The only person that will harm is yourself. No one else will be hurt by you going over and over the problem or to blame yourself. I know this is a very hard thing to do. I have to constantly struggle with letting go. It is so easy to be a victim and to complain. But that only brings more things for us to complain because as we know from the Law of Attraction we get what we concentrate on the most.
So in summary take responsibility and then learn and move on to greater opportunities.

Good day to you all,
I hope your week is going stupendously. I have been reading a book by Claude M. Bristol called The Magic of Believing.  It clarified something that I had read and heard before but really did not sink in till today. Sometimes in the past I have seen my goals and things I wanted to manifest take longer to come, or I hit some difficulties. Sort of like something was sabotaging my manifestations. At first I thought that it was not meant to happen and the Law of attraction was protecting me. I did not question it but at times it did seem a bit wired. Now I have a new explanation for some of those things. In this book there is a STRONG emphasis on keeping your goals and written statements of those goals to yourself. In the begging of this blog  I outlined the 6 steps I learned from the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, on how to set and achieve any goal you want in your life. If you are not familiar with it, I urge you to go back to the earlier posts and read it. I do recall in that book as well Napoleon Hills suggested keeping your goals to yourself until they are achieved. There was no explanation of the why however, and may be that is why it did not register with me.
 In the Magic of Believing the explanation is simple and it states "... thought vibrations, consciously or unconsciously, because of envy, or some other cause may be set up to counteract your own". (The Magic of Believing; C. Bristol p.89).  This morning it all made sense. Many times in my own life  I have shared a new goal or vision that I had set forth toward success or attainment of things,  with friends and family as well as, due to the excitement I have about the LOA,  I outlined the principles of how to set those goals in written form and review them daily. Many people instinctively feel obligated to tell me all the reasons that my plan was not going to succeed. Even today I sometimes find myself thinking that way when some one brings to me ideas that are outside of my comfort zone and I have to check myself before speaking so as not to step on their dreams. I don't think this is out of malice by any means.
Those who love us, have an innate sense of protectiveness towards us. The easiest way to protect one, is to not take risk. I believe that is where most negative criticism of relatives comes from, but never the less that energy is released and because of the high emotional attachment it has power.
Remember we all use the same ultimate energy and source. Negativity will slow down all your hard work and visualization so the best thing is unless you are confident that the person you share your plans with is in line with your goals, it is better to keep them to yourself and let your actions and success speak for itself.

Good day all,
Today I want to share with you a lesson I learned from my baby girl. This is something she has done all her life but I just happened to notice it today while I was making lunch because I was in a mood of receiving what I was going to write on this blog next.
The lesson is about persistence. All her life my wife and I have been teaching our daughter to be positive and as much as we can about the how she controls her ,destiny through the Law of Attraction. What I have not related in this blog much is how much of what we manifest and bring about in our lives with our thoughts have to do with persistence.
My daughter saw a packet of crazy glue on the counter while I was preparing lunch. She pulled up her little stool so she was at eye level with it put her chin on her hands on the counter about 2 inches away from the packet of crazy glue and as I was chopping onions about a foot away she asked me "baba, what is this?" I told her it was "mommy's crazy glue". She said "can I have it?" I said "No". Well that was where the lesson started. For literally 15 minutes straight she did not stop asking "can I have it, haa? can I? Can I have it?". I was feeling specially young at heart today so I kept on the game of telling her "Nope, No, No you can't" as I continued with my cooking. After the 15 minutes she was in the same position and I could see the concentration and visualization in action. Now this may be just me, but that is what every one needs to do. Complete and utter concentration on what you want. Keep on going and do not take "NO" for an answer until you either get what you want or you realize that it is not in your best interest to have it.

Learning from a 2 years old little child that there is power in persistence reminds me of a well known fact that Thomas Edison had over 10,000 failed attempt at perfecting the light bulb.

I am great full to my daughter for bringing me this lesson. And yes she did get the packet of crazy glue to play with shortly there after.

The Greatest Situation Reverser of all time

Good day all,
I just stumbled on this and had to put it up. In previous blogs I have made reference to having some "situation reverser" for the times when you are faced with challenges and need a sure fire way of starting to change the negative into positive vibrations.
I stumbled on this tonight when I was putting my baby to sleep and you can use it with your children or any one you feel deep feeling of love for.
Here is what happened.
I was putting my little girl to sleep and as she was just lying next to me with her bottle of milk I put my hand on her chest. I felt the quick beating of her heart. As I sat there a deep feeling of peace and gratitude came over me. I just left my hand on her heart and thanked God for the great day I had with her, and for the fact that she is happy and healthy.
I suggest you take a moment alone with the one you love. Get comfortable and calm. Put the hustle and bustle of the day behind you and put your hand on their heart until you can feel the lub-dub of their heart beat. Concentrate on the heart beat and internalize the great joy you feel for being with the one you love. Just treasure this moment in every way. What does it feel like. What sounds are around you. What is the temperature like. Are you closing your eyes or are looking at each other? All these in the greatest amount of detail you can will be burned into your mind and feel the joy and happiness and the peace it delivers to you.

The next time some thing throws you for a curve and you feel the loss of control and negative feelings approaching, go into the feelings of when you were with your loved one and re-live them in all the detail you can muster. See how little by little more and more of good thoughts come to you and keep on to those and feel good about those thoughts until you are out of the rut.

When Success is Slow, What Can You Do?

When Success is SlowPop Quiz: Can success be sped up? Is there an antidote to slow outcomes despite arduous planning and actions taken? What's the secret for seeing huge results right now?!
I get versions of these questions frequently from people who feel frustrated at sluggish progress in their success journey - despite all the know-how and principles they rigorously employ.
Let's get one thing straight...
When we admire someone's success, or even our own, we often focus on the end result and not so much on the effort (and time) that it took to get there. This can cultivate unrealistic expectations, especially the idea that overnight success can happen through careful strategy and an execution of sound advice.
The truth be told, success typically follows a series of little events and achievements that can seem to take an eternity, that include a few disappointments along the way, and that challenge everything about you to the core - your stamina, courage, integrity, and even your willingness to keep going.
If you focus on what's not working, guess what: You're likely coming from a place of aggravation as your mind wraps around all that is wrong.
You may even have negative thoughts like "I'm not good enough," "It will never work," or "Something must be wrong with me."
What this mentally does is engender more of these counter-productive feelings. And given what we know about the Law of Attraction, you attract what you are feeling. So negative experiences, people, and results will beget more negative experience, people, and results. There's not much success in that.
The key is to focus on what IS working.
To do so, I recommend two simple practices: journaling and meditation.
Maintaining a journal (I call it an Evidence Log, Results Journal, or Gratitude Journal) is a great way to steer your attention to the positive and continually renew your vision for yourself.
Start each day with reflections on what you are grateful for in your life (list them out!) and end each day with notes on what went right (again, write them down), however small they may seem.
Spend time each day in quiet contemplation, prayer or meditation.
Meditation can be a powerful tool for arriving at solutions to problems and shifting your attitude so you can attract success sooner rather than later. The magic of meditation is its ability to essentially shut down the outer layer of your judgmental, highly-critical brain and allow your unconscious mind to take over. This is where you enter a deeper state of inner peace and joy, tapping into a higher level of creativity that will help usher in the results you want. (Don't know how to meditate? Lots of books and materials are available to guide you through this practice. It's easier than you think. )
Let's say you're doing ALL these things, but you still aren't happy with your results...
I'll ask you then, are you taking real ACTION?
You may be taking the actions you are used to taking. But if you keep doing what you've already done, then you'll keep getting what you've always gotten. It's a matter of practicing some new behaviors. Shake things up a bit and see if you can take new actions or modify existing ones.
Remember the Rule of 5.
Every day do five specific things that take you toward your goal. Change up the five actions regularly and be open to feedback so you know when you're off course.
Lastly, I want to remind you about patience.
It's natural to underestimate how long a certain goal can take, especially a profound one. When I set a goal to become a millionaire, the year was 1983. How long did it take? Eleven years. It took time for Chicken Soup for the Soul to hit the bestseller lists. You could say our tenure on the New York Times list was more than a decade in the making. That's a lot of patience for someone who initially wanted overnight success.
So, yes, patience is a virtue. But keep at it, and in no time, you'll be only one week, or one day away from your ultimate success.
Remember... be GRATEFUL, reflect on what IS working and continue to take ACTION!

Good day all,
I hope you are having an awesome day.
From time to time I like to do a reality check on myself so I figured I share this on the blog. I like to call to mind what I choose to pay attention to in my surroundings:
  • What am I listening to right now?
  • What am I reading for pleasure or to pass the time?
  • What am I watching on T.V.?
  • What am I paying attention to in my daily commute or during the day? Is it the accident on the side of the road or is it  my child playing in the playground and being happy?
All these things influence my subconscious  to some extent. If I am aware of them then I control what shapes my reality.
There is nothing wrong with listening to your favorite music, watch news and T.V. shows, as long as you feed your mind at the very least the same amount of positive energy food. Remember positive thoughts are 1000 times more powerful than negative thoughts, like a match stick lit in a tunnel positive energy cuts through the darkness, but you have to light the match.

Good day all,
On the same thinking trend, I wanted to explore who you surround yourself with and the effect it has on you. Some one told me that you will be at the level of the 5 closest people you associate with. That is in most cases true but we do not pick our friends for their lifestyle or ours for that matter. The statement however does have merit. It means that you should choose to be around people you want to be like. If you want to be artistic be around artists. If you want to be wealthy associate with people who are wealthier than you are. If you want to be intelligent be around those who are more learned than you are. Napoleon Hill said that if you are the smartest person in your mastermind group there is a problem. You should always be thirsting for knowledge.

Just like in every thing else we find our comfort-zone in our associations. There is nothing wrong with being comfortable but to improve you have to step out of your comfort zone. To learn you have to associate with people who know more than you do. That is intimidating, and scary at times. The rewards are well worth it though.

By the same token if you are around people who are negative and complain all the time you will at some point get stuck in their negativity. I am not saying abandon your friends but you do have a choice and the responsibility to create your future. Remember what ever you concentrate on becomes your reality. I used to think that I could change my negative friends by unwavering positivity but I can not change any one who does not want to change and in the end I felt like I was drained. So I try to listen, and try to change the conversation to a silver lining but if it fails I WILL remove myself from the situation at least long enough to re-energize myself. You have to do the same. If you can not eliminate those who are negative in your life you need to limit your exposure to the negativity, and fill yourself with positive energy.

How to Deal with People that Upset you?

Good day all,
I read somewhere that you can not satisfy all the people all the time. So from time to time people will upset, disappoint, or just tick you off. The obvious and reactionary thing to do is to return the favor. When people upset us it is "natural" to reciprocate. Some times we get louder, sometimes we get upset and say something we regret later, sometimes we do things to hurt them back. We all know that is the wrong thing but we do it anyway, why? Because at the moment of great emotional stress we react and do not think.

It is really hard to stop and think when you are under the emotional stress of a moment. What I choose to do that has recently helped me allot is to just remember the one thing that "I am responsible for what is happening to me at this exact time".  One way or another by my past thoughts and emotional vibration I have given to those thought I have brought into my reality the current situation that is not making me feel good.

What comes next is the harder part of the equation, which has taken me a long time to do and still at times I fail to do it immediately, but eventually I figure it out. That is to start slowly to turn the situation around and focus on small steps towards a better vibration. Feeling a little bit better. Small steps are the key. I start by not going into an argument. If I can not do that I leave the situation. If I still can not do that I just refuse to engage the person for a while and just start to think about what a beautiful day it is. The fact that I saw my little girl this morning eating her breakfast cereal.
Because if I engage the subject matter it only gives force to those feeling and no matter how much I want to end the conflict I am CONCENTRATING ON THE CONFLICT AND NOT THE SOLUTION.
By concentrating on little good things I bring more of good things into my reality and the solution to my problem will come as well and I will be in a mindset to recognize and take advantage of utilizing the solution.

Good morning,
Recently I was talking with someone about going after their dreams and when to take and not to take advice from friends and loved ones. The thing about people who love is that they are always trying to "PROTECT" you. One of the things I noticed is that every time I went for something outside of my comfort zone with the exception of my wife and my mother, everyone who I knew told me NOT to go for it and came up with all kinds of what if's and how so and so had tried it to no avail.
I honestly do not think it is out of malice, but as you know most people do not like going outside of their comfort zone and that is all they know. So when someone comes to them with situations that requires them to step out of their comfort zone the easy thing is to just say "that won't work".
I am not saying do not take advice, but please think carefully before you do. Going after your dreams are tough enough without having "nay Sayers" around. Take peoples advice. People who you respect but in the end gather all the information and make up YOUR OWN MIND. In the end you are responsible for your future.

Good day to all,
This post is about the little things that make a big difference. As I was sitting in the airport in San Diego waiting for a delayed flight, I noticed some commotion on the other gates. This must not have been a good day for American Flights out of San Diego. For one reason or another the flight attendants were not on time and the flight had to be changed or something. That is not the important point. When an understandably irritated passenger tracked a gate agent down and asked if she knew the flight attendants were late why didn't they announce and change flights 2 hours earlier? The agent very calmly apologized and explained some reasoning that I did not hear but it was good enough that the passenger said "its not your fault, it's American's" to which the gate agent responded "right now I am American, and I do apologize". Well that made an impact on me. I fly American almost exclusively and every year they send me these little coupons that says "applause" on it to give to employees of American who impress me. It costs me nothing but 2 seconds to take it out of my bag and hand it over. So I gave the agent this ticket and told her it is refreshing to see someone who takes ownership. What then transpired is why I wrote this post.
You should have seen the expression on the lady's face. She smiled at me from ear to ear, and said "you just made my day". Can you believe that. A simple piece of paper and a word of thanks, made her day. The thing that really surprised me is HOW GOOD IT MADE ME FEEL TO HEAR THAT. I felt so great that this lady was suddenly gone from a stressed outlook to a brief moment of joy. It was a rush for me.

I hope you can take a time to share a smile, or give a word of gratitude to someone who deserves it. Heck give it to someone who does not deserve it any way. See how it makes you feel. I will guarantee you that it will be worth your few seconds.

Good day all,
If I told you that I noticed some one who has been practicing the LOA get upset over some thing as trivial as dropping a piece of onion through the grill of a BBQ, what advice would you offer? In discussing this situation we realized that for as long as we could remember this was happening. The subject of my blog today admitted that loosing control over little challenges was an ongoing challenge, where as when it came to big things this person was calm and collected.  They just started noticing this issue and by definition this has been the manifestation of their previous thoughts. They are concentrating on this trying to change their reaction, however, all that attention to the subject just brings more of it into reality. So how do we go about NOT  getting upset. There in lies the problem.  Let's use Mother Teresa as an example. She was quoted as saying "I will not attend an anti-war rally but if you have a peace rally invite me". The realization lies in the fact that our concentration has to be on being calm when little mishaps occur. A statement to concentrate on could be some thing like: "I am so happy and grateful now that I am calm and in control when things becoming challenging". 
It took this blog for us to realize that the subject had this issue. Even though this person is a student of the Law of Attraction and reads on the subject and practices it daily it is so easy to laps into old habits. So through this medium, and because we were discussing the topic of next post, we came to the realization that slippage does occur. The great thing, however is that tomorrows reality is now created by influencing direct control over it as apposed to waiting for it to come about by default. 

So the moral of the story is that we find it so easy to pin point what is wrong and that becomes our focus for the solution. By giving the "don't want" the focus and energy we are manifesting more of that "don't want" because the source does not recognize words of negation. We have to concentrate on the solution and not the problem, for that is when the energy is going to be utilized for positive results.

...seeds of equivalent or greater success

Good day all,
One of the greatest quotes I have ever heard is from Napoleon Hill in the book Think and Grow Rich, "With every adversity, with every heartache, there comes the seeds of equivalent or greater success". I  have had this come true in my live over and over again but still to this day when the adversity hits me in between the eyes it is so hard to concentrate on the what is the seed here?

I share this in hopes that it resonates with you and let you know that you are not alone in being overwhelmed, or afraid. In the T.V. series LOST,  Dr. Jack Shepard said "it is OK to be afraid. When I am afraid I give myself till the count of 3. I can be afraid for 3 seconds. Then I take a deep breath and move on and find a solution or confront the situation". I don't know how many times when adversity has come into my life I have spend hours or days re-living that situation over and over again in my head. That does absolutely nothing. It only makes me feel worse and as we have discussed the feelings are what resonates with the source and more and more of situations that match those feelings will keep on coming.

The key is to believe that the seeds of success are there waiting to sprout. It may take some time but it will come. Just pay attention to the opportunities that will arrive and take a lesson from the adversity and go forward. If you are too busy blaming yourself or others for the adversity you will not be open to see the opportunities for the greater success. Adversity some times is necessary to teach us a lesson we NEED to learn. Adversity at times is necessary to push us out of our comfort zone.

So the next time adversity rears its head, take 3 seconds to feel what ever it is that comes up as a knee jerk reaction. Then take a deep breath and look for the seeds of greater success.
